Not really, someone with a high kd will likely be skilled, but if he doesn't play for the objective he will still lose.
I've had games of control where people have 40+ kills but no captures so at the end of the match they still lost.

I've had 40+ around 6 times and each of those games I had 8k+ points and a decent amount of captures. We won all of those games. Your teammates would have to be afk for you to lose

If the guy had 40+ kills and a decent K/D ratio, it's not him which made the team lose because he at the most put forward 4000+ points for the team. His team must of been full of BKs if they still lost.

Depends on what you think playing the objective means man, a slayer can play the objective by killing people around a flag area, which lets none slayers cap the flag. He might have no captures but he was playing the objective. At the end of the day, if a guy is decent at killing, he's stopping the enemy team capping flags which means his team has to step up their game to cap those flags

Yeah I guess you're right, it all depends on the situation. But I still agree that a good kd doesn't equal skill.
