Reported a red bar last night, AND messaged him.
I told the kid he was red-barring, and that it was an utter pain trying to kill him (the typical disappearing/reappearing in front of you stuff, came in first both times we played him). His response was that it wasn't intentional, and to "suck it". I said "don't play if you're going to make the experience unenjoyable for the rest of the lobby".
So...we play him and his two clanmates again. He kills me literally five or six times and teabags me every time. Of course, I was helpless in that he was basically invulnerable. Is that really necessary?
Edit: Seems to be a lot of red bars here. I'm just saying, I go a step further. Since Bungie doesn't seem to check the reports as much as they should, I will *gladly* message the player I report letting them know I did such.

Eh, one more edit: Can we all agree it would be nice if Bungie could make dedicated servers for this game? It (most likely) won't happen, but we can all dream, right? I know, I know, lots of money to maintain, blah blah blah...but surely they've made a ton during Destiny's infancy to finance it, and also operate on the assumption they will make a ton more money from the future expansions/sequels?

Or you find out that the PvP does not have servers instead it's just probably the shittest matchmaking I've ever seen pairing you up with a person with the shittest connection from Australia and you being in the United States

I used to have a red bar, but I got my internet fixed. Now I have a green bar and I am happy.

If the red bar is giving them an unfair advantage I report for cheating and bad connection. The other day we played luminosity and he was red baring and hard to kill because of the teleport lag. He got a few reports from us even though we won lol

If I had a red bar, I wouldn't feel like 1. It's my fault, or 2. I shouldn't be allowed to play. If it's not ruining [b][i]my[/i][/b] experience I'll keep playing. I'm in pvp to kill you anyways what do I care if you don't like it lol I see your point though. And he definitely didn't need to be a prick about it.

I think I have this issue unintentionally, but it causes me more deaths than it gives me kills. Can't count the times where I kill someone then they kill me anyways, but maybe 5 at most time I was granted postmortem kills

Dedicated servers won't fix the problem. They work for a very limited time, then support fails and downtime is much longer, careful what you ask for...

I agree every damn game you have a red bar and they have top score. Any other game if your ping iss to high you get kicked . wish they would keep the high pings together but as we all know there isn't dedicated servers running the matches that would help

If you're seeing other uses with a red bar, just report. You have no reason to send them a message about their connection, unless it was a positive message / a way you know that could improve such connections. Otherwise it could be called harassment due to you harassing him because of his connection.

I report every red bar i see. Bungie should restrict players from match making of they are red barring to often.

I realized few months ago anyone could have a random red bar. Myself included and all of my friends who normally have a green bar. It's not players fault (in most cases). But there seems to be the ones that are RED RED and just teleworking from place to place... they are annoying
