NO MORE RAIDS until fall of 2016 confirmed ??
I'm surprised that nobody is quoting Kotaku... They literally say there wont be any PAID expansion until fall of 2016 so for me it means no raid until fall of 2016.. I'm so sad...!
EDIT: people are saying we will get raids for free. Okay.. ^^ don't need to insult me. A free raid sounds good but too good to be true for me ^^
EDIT2: It seems that I should have added a third option : "op is jumping to conclusions" :), meaning you think new dlcs with raids will come for free. (well thanks to microtransactions). I cannot edit the poll :/ I personally don't think Activision would do that but I hear you :)

I'm guessing we'll at least get the Cabal Raid/Charlemagne's Vault before next release. Raids are what drives Destiny the most, so I doubt Bungie would just starve the community of them for an entire year.

I suspect they will drip feed us the 2 smaller dlcs to avoid the huge drop off in players that occurs a few months after each small dlc. They may throw in a few events aswell to keep us going.

Stop jumping to conclusions. Kotaku is often sensationalist garbage anyhow. Their own article makes no secret that they haven't even talked to anyone about this! They're literally making it up as they go. Read the bottom, they gave Activision a "deadline" to reply as if they were trying to force an exclusive story and no one has talked to them about it.

I could be way off here but Kotaku stated that Bungie will be releasing content gradually until the release of Destiny 2. Why is it so hard to assume that the content that will slowly be released is the Vex Void and Forge of Gods expansions. It precisely says, ' This will likely involve big drops every few months until the fall of 2016 but could also include trickles of smaller stuff throughout the year.' I can easily see these free drops including the content from both of the expansions, just have slower progression type game play to them

2 RepliesNo new raid for a year would be a little crappy. But the article didn't explicitly state no raid. I won't defend bungie, as they don't need me too, and I won't write them off either. We may get one. We may not. I withhold speculation about another raid until we are told yes or no...even though that may take some time. But time will tell.
