y'all really need to calm down.
People here comparing this call of duty now, did you forget what other little game is doing Cosmetic Micro-Transactions? Halo 5.
Some people don't mind spending small cash on cool cosmetic effects. Games with a business model like Destiny thrive on that stuff. Calm down, no ones going to get an upper hand on you in game, unless they slow clap on your dead body in PVP or PVE
then well kudos to them
(hoping slow clap is in there)
EDIT 1- Rumor going around or coming from kotaku that since cosmetics and MAYBE sparrow skins will be paid that future DLC will be free. In the form of new quests randomly (probably for exotics?) and once in a while a huge DLC supply drop

As long as it doesn't progress any further than cosmetic I'm ok with it. Do I trust them to keep it at this level? Not on your life brother. I hope I'm wrong, I love this game. But I will quit instantly if they start selling guns for real money.

3 RepliesSoon as I saw trading company I thought weapon trading was coming to Destiny.....NOOOOOOO!! If prople wanna buy emotes and cosmetic things then so be it. They clearly stated that they have no effect on gameplay and are totally optional, and they're giving us some free silver

I'm not a fan of it but in the end it's a choice....It's not a game changer it affects no one

1 ReplyExactly ! Many games have done vanity only and its very successful. Hell its pretty sweet to see people vanity shit and makes unique snowflakes yo !
