So just beat Oryx and...
It gave me mouldering shards and wormspore... Wtf is that dude..

Last night with 20 moldering shards I got all this. 2shards 300 light class item. #rippedoff

All these people that complain about drops clearly haven't played an mmo. Imagine spending hours a day for weeks trying to clear a raid and the drops you get aren't for your class or you lose the roll to what you can use. It takes a couple hours to clear the raid in destiny. Don't be so entitled and have some dignity.

I just beat oryx again after the weekly reset. My loot was 1 fusion rifle from a chest and the rest you can guess were . . . SHARDS. I do not usually complain about things since the loot system is based on random. Still nothing has changed from the horrors we had to deal with on atheon and crota. Bungie promised changes with the loot system in pve pvp and raids, Nothing has changed. Most players are not rewarded anything for their hard work. It is frustrating doing something and not be rewarded, Looking at my friends getting chest piece hand cannons scout rifles and other things while i and many others of course are left with nothing. Moldering shards wasted 40. I am the one in our team that deals the most damage to warpriest golgoroth and oryx but i am running lootless runs and i see my 40 euro going down the drain. Errors have invaded and bugs have made beating oryx take ages. There are quest related rewards we have not been given. I have played Destiny since the beta and had my hopes up changes for the better will come. Loot system is still the worst i have seen in any game in my 20 years of playing all genres on all platforms there have been. Well now i just have to hang on untill final fantasy 15 get's released and i will live in that game and forget about Destiny 2. Gear should not be dropped fast and easy on that i agree but wasting months trying to get something is something bungie needs to learn will push players away from their game.

5 RepliesIt's hit or miss. I just ran my titain through the raid and I was shocked at the gear failing from the sky. 310 boots 300 lmg 308 shotgun 305 sniper 308 class item !!!!Helmet!!!!! And a scout rifle, lol. Not to bad for one raid

4 RepliesI have beat oryx once with my warlock, Got the pulse from the whole raid, Ran once again after reset got 2 dam rocket launchers and boots. Ran both my hunter and titan up to oryx and got only shards from all previous bosses and boxes. Yeah yeah i know bungie tells crap about random drops. But they shouldn't lie about saying they have changed things to drop better and not give you duplicate stuff.. I am already angry enough for not getting the fatal vision ship that was supposed to come after doing the main story and beating oryx, All taken king quests done and the old hunger quest didn't give the shader that the kiosk says * completing the old hunger quest* What's up with these critical bugs they still haven't fixed? And why do they keep lying in our faces about things that obviously doesn't work the way they say. So far drops have been crap.. My hunter and titan get mostly green engrams! and both are lvl 40 and ligh 290+ and three coins been wasted on them 30-40 each. But my main warlock haven't got a single green since i hit level 40. One more thing to rant about is the legendary engrams, I say it now they are USELESS.. They only give vanguard or crucible gear or with luck the set piece for each class. Well i like neuroghast on hunter but lol still that's stupid waste of engrams and marks with rahool. Strikes are the only place with some good legendary gear that are the same as the old fatebringer (imago loop now) and vision of confluence (treads upon stars now) And few others i have seen like taniks drops an auto rifle and alak hul drops a fusion rifle. They still beat most gear you get from crappy engrams. Gunsmith's armsday weapons have proven to be good, Tuonela scout was good and häkke pulse rifle, Still waiting for eireen that will replace my 1000 yard stare since yeah, Black spindle is exotic so can't kill myself with touch of malice when bad raid drops makes me sad enough..

I haven't beaten Oryx yet, but the only thing I've gotten from the raid so far, are the gauntlets, and the shotgun. If I don't get something from him, I'm going to be pissed.

Armor or weapon should be guaranteed to drop from the raid boss imo. This is why I don't really care to raid. All that bs for shards

You can't expect to get everything the first time you beat it. Hell, I had to wait until the week before TTK to get my first Vex Mythoclast.
