Lol so I joined a raid full of all Hunters but me.
So I went on the Destiny forums to do the Oryx part of the raid and by Joel god it was horrible, there was two know-it-alls and three sqeaker kids. They realized I was a Titan and they called me "Useless because I don't have a super to hurt Oryx" and they booted me from the fireteam. Honestly it's goddamn stupid.

6 RepliesI just beat it for the first time. I feel like Weapons of Light makes the Oryx fight a million times easier. It went so much smoother once we had a couple Titans in there.

3 RepliesWe only had one Titan and we were all on our alts. Includes 4 Hunters because nobody likes hunters and it took an extra 35 minutes. Typically we alternate between Titans and Warlocks. And always get it done in just under an hour and half, including collecting the maze chest and taking a couple water breaks. Needless to say, Hunters are least useful because they can't even clear adds like Warlocks Stormcaller and of course alternating Ward of Dawn in any situation.

My group doesn't worry about supers. We worry more about dps from our weapons and working as team. More than likely in hard mode oryx will take your supers like in story mode so it's best to not rely on them anyway. The normal mode is already pretty easy and routine to us so I think we're ready for hard mode now.

5 hunters is good at oryx if you think about it .. Maybe 2 Rock gg or celestial nighthawk .. and the rest rock quiver with the trap perk .. 2 Pre fire super on ogre spawns .. Every ogre would be suppressed as soon as they spawn .. And the last would super the vessel :))

And conversely, I ran Oryx with a random group a few days ago and we 1 shot it, 5 hunters 1 Warlock. NO WEAPONS OF LIGHT. full forum group. Moral of the story? Bad players are bad, good players are good. Has nothing to do with the class. Next thread.

All I want to see is a Titan-only raid. Sounds like a great/terrible idea.

2 RepliesI play a squishy Hunter as my main, and I must say, I am delighted to see Titans in my fireteam. You guys are fu¢king OP. I have no problem with that. Also, Weapons O' Light. You being on my team makes my guns better and gives me cover, which I would desperately need when being shot at by a literal space-satan. In short; Fu¢k those kids for being ignorant douche-jugglers. You keep on being awesome.

Honestly you're better without em' screw people like that. Guardians are supposed to stick together. -blam!- them, Titans are great for lots of stuff. And Warlocks clear mobs so in short...team work makes the dream work.

Ran through the entire raid up to oryx the other day, we were struggling through it for some reason and then we all just stopped and someone went "are we all hunters?" It was pretty funny lol

4 RepliesTitan is one of the most useful classes in the Oryx fight... Aside from high agility the Hunter doesn't do much... A sniper is better than a Golden Gun any day when you need to flinch him.

Titans pretty much control this raid. Warlocks self res is always useful, but even hunters with nightstalekr can shadow it. For the record, I can guarantee many hunters chose that class because of capes. Everyone loves capes. Me included.

Honestly, if they think a titan is useless on a raid, it's better if you don't raid with them lol the Ward saves lives, and I main a Hunter

Bubble is the best super to use against oryx. Ignore dumb people and make your own group or play with friends.
