My dad says destiny is satanic
My dad says destiny is a satanic mind controlling game and is banning me from it. What should I do?

That internet connection you use to connect to Destiny? Dad again. The roof over your head so it doesn't rain on that console and the food you eat so you don't die? Dad and Dad. So your fundamental problem is that you don't get to argue with him about getting to play Destiny. Heck, he may even just be saying that because your grades are slipping (or some other reason) and is just saying it's "from Satan" to amuse himself. But the bottom line is even if he legitimately believes the game has Satan in it and you think that's nuts he still wins because he paid for all of it. It's all his stuff and he's just letting you use it. So if you want to keep your PS4/XB1/PS3/XB360 AT ALL then you should just drop it and find another game to play. Complain about it to your friends like any self-respecting angst-ridden teen would and move on.

Comes a time in every young person's life when s/he must come to terms with the facts that: (1) by and large, adults are morons; and (2) your own parents are not exceptional in that regard. Your dad's viewpoint is, of course, false as a simple matter of fact, but straight-up telling him that is unlikely to produce good results. Is he open to discussion on the subject?

I know exactly what to do in this situation. It could be dangerous. First, you'll need a science book. Any type of science literature would suffice; even Grey's Anatomy! Then, your next step is to violently beat the stupid out of him until he learns his "god" has forsaken him. Thank me later.

Probably the best thing you can do is not raise your children like him. Granted he may just be looking out for you, but come the -blam!- on, its a game. Really think about how little sense that makes fear for the day his mild dementia because full blown schizophrenia.
