Think about it. Guardians have supers that will completely destroy Spartans.
Choose one then tell why you chose that answer below.
Edit: These are all really good view points. Keep it up!
Oh by the way, Guardians have a huge selection of weapons. Spartans have so little, if you really think about.
Edit 2: HOLY SHIT. 250 replies. That's awesome guys. Keep it up!
Edit 3: OH MY FÙCKING GOSH. 472 replies?! Not too long ago, it was 250 replies. Gosh.
I've played Halo. It was my childhood. I know Spartans are super soldiers. I know who Master Chief is. I've played all the way up to halo 4(which sucks ass.)I know my shit.
Yes, Spartans might have better armor, but we got not only Supers, but a trillion other things we could blow up Spartans with.

1 ReplyMy dad was a destiny

Well atleast ghosts dont go bat shit crazy

Why is this back. God, it's not a fair fight. Year two of destiny. Spartans have far more lore and story. Stop asking. Obviously Spartans would win. Quit trying to revive this topic.

4 RepliesI had to change my answer twice! LOL! Spartans really only have abilities based on their armor, they have superior training that's for sure, but Guardians have their own super abilities no matter what, have a much broader variety of weapons...but...SPARTANS have badasses like Master Chief! It's so hard to chose! Both are pretty badass at their own rate, but it's hard to really pick. This debate was long overdue, and it's rattling my brain with all kinds of badass moments and characters! Not to mention lore! We need another one, Covenant, or Cabal? Or The Hive, or The Flood. Ahhhh!
-
3 RepliesI think I will pick the Guardians who are an undead army with superpowers and with constant revives from their allies or their own personal AI.
-
What if guardians are just what happens when spartans die and are brought back. What if elites evolved into vandals and capitans after 1000 years

13 RepliesEdited by Kiwi: 10/3/2015 7:45:57 PMI take my previous statement back I don't know who would win lol.
-
2 RepliesGuardians have supers. Thinking from a Trials of Osiris stand point: the Spartans would kill faster and be more tactical not letting the Guardians "pop" more than one super in the match. Putting the guardians at a great disadvantage. I give it to the Spartans in everything except Supers. I do not like the way Crucible plays.

"I really don't know" and i read that and the urge to do while scratching my head with one finger.

3 RepliesEdited by Link Stark: 10/3/2015 6:59:34 PMSpartans have armor abilities and more intense training. They also have great shielding and are fast and very strong. Guardians would win with super. Without the supers, they're powerless
also, all the op weapons were nerfed, soooo yeah.
-
3 RepliesEveryone is making the whole "super" argument but Spartans have armor abilities such as armor lock which can be used every 5 seconds or so. And vehicles... People say titans are tanks... But can a titan survive a tank tank?

2 RepliesSpartan IV'a compared to guardians would be a tough call. As far as hand to hand with no abilities or guns or whatever, I would give it to a spartan since they would have the upper hand in terms of physical strength against hunters and warlocks, with Titans most likely being even. But the ultimate factor in this would be that the Spartans have hand to hand combat training, compared to the guardians, which probably don't, so the only way this would be a fair fight is if it was shaxx vs a spartan IV. Now, as far as gun usage, both guardians and Spartans have been shown to be incredible shots, so this one would be up in the air for the most part, but a prolonged fight would likely favor a guardian unless the Spartan can close for close combat. As far as tech support goes, ghosts seem to be a bit more advanced than the gen5 AI's which would be the best thing a spartan can get their hands on, even then they are very rarely used in spartan deployment, so since every guardian has a ghost, this would likely go to the guardian. As far as abilities, the guardian would probably win this one again, Spartans have a few new tricks up their sleeves in halo 5. But it doesn't quite compare with the guardian list. So looking back on this, I would say the guardian would probably win. Unless the spartan can get the drop on them at close range, then it's most likely their victory. Hope this serves as a thorough enough analysis that isn't biased.

OTHER: I don't really care

Guardians can come back to life. While not the most effective manure in 1v1. An army vs. Army battle would have guardians win. Also, a titan can PUNCH a vex ROBOT hard enough to destroy it. Op strength But flood+hive vs. Guardians+Spartans would be best though.
-
Guardians too op xD

Spartans.
bexasue The ghorn was nerfed.
1 ReplyYou are comparing Halo lore to Destiny in-game. That's not fair, but that's the only way Spartans will have a chance with the Guardians.

3 RepliesIt's not so easy to tell. Titans and Spartans both have heavy power armor. This armor on both is easily penetrated by both normal ammunition and by energy weapons. A shield is required for them to even survive any fire fight. This is clear in both series, hundred of these invincible warriors die easily is back story from both silly ways and epic ways. Now they both have abilities/equipment. Bubble shield/wod, fist of havoc and what appears to be a new ability in halo 5 that is similar if you've seen the trailer or armor lock which counters all damage especially electric based, hammer of sol I think has an edge. Back to fist fight. They both have strength enhancements that aren't normal. Spartans are augmented to be faster and stronger. Titans have light that courses through their body the same way and makes them stronger and faster. Spartans however have training. Especially I believe the II's. Where kelly and John come from. Years of training in cqb and range. Fighting skills would in theory be much higher before they even see their first enemy, which was twice the strength vs a spartan fully suited. I think it'd be a very close fight though. Very epic. Would love to see it. Unless it's Titan vs Spartans III's, Titans win. Invisibility don't work vs motion trackers lol

7 RepliesGuardians will be dead before they can use their supers, which aren't even that powerful anyway.
