Gr8 b8 m8 lol
But seriously they are. As a warlock theres opportunity to use all sub classes in raid. Void bomb for ogres/echo, stormcaller for melting adds in any part, sunsinger if youre lower level and need self rez. Also sunsinger sticky nade with burn is a good way to mark the echo.
If theres a titan that doesnt run bubble, or hunter that doesnt run bow, they should be kicked from your raid group.
Also they hardly even use it right. If i had a dollar for every time a titan blocked line of fire with bubble or a hunter missed a shot such as warpriest or golgoroth... HOW DO YOU MISS GOLGOROTH. Or they just waste their shot on adds. Thats always fun.
And waiting for hunters to do jumping puzzles. Jesus. Or when they volunteer to run relic and fall, or take the full 60 seconds to mentally prepare themselves for each platform.
And once hard mode drops... Lol^2
Its going to be even worse. As a Warlock master race, you have my word that i will try my hardest to carry you guys as yall continue to not even use your o so great supers right :)
(Im bored at work. Don't blow up my phone too much lol)

Ive played with the idea of striker titans on some parts of kings fall. Wouldnt be the best thing ever, but it could be useful. And Solar Titans can do some damage as well.

You sir are an idiot

Edited by QuiscalusMajor: 10/1/2015 2:50:41 PMi love running striker in VoG and CE, but you're right -- in the beginning i sure as hell didn't run those classes because they require teams that know what the hell they're doing. if everything starts going to sh!t around me, i switch back to defender to support my team, but if we all know wtf we're doing, FoH all day long. it'll be the same with KF eventually, once teams git gud, we can feel out the other subclasses and their roles. i can't wait to go swords and sunbro on Atheon sometime~
btw gunslinger with celestial nighthawk can be pretty clutch with a spotty team at Oryx
Edited by XShadow0MasterX: 10/1/2015 2:47:01 PMThe only thing I've seen a Warlock be useful for is Oryx* (said Crota, don't know why). They don't really do damage, but glide (and possibly lift) makes it so you don't need the final platform in the jumping puzzle. Made it easier to clear ogres.
-
You're joking right? It's cute you can't beat the raid without a bubble, or a bow.

1 ReplyEdited by robofighter4: 10/1/2015 2:51:26 PMAlternatively: Warlocks have no specific use (dare I say are useless?) in the Raid.
Also Celestial Nighthawk is pretty useful for good burst damage on bosses, and using Shadowshot on adds is great for spawning orbs.

Also also, I don't have a problem with any class, and believe any subclass can be utilized in some way in the raid.
I think the warlock is the only class that does nothing in the raid. The jumping puzzles are infinitely easier on a hunter or Titan. The jump puzzles at the end are time depended and no one has time to watch a warlock float around slowly leaving us less than 10 seconds to shoot the daughters. With a hunter or Titan I can have everyone with me ready to shoot the daughters with more than 30 seconds left.

Edited by KillerCollie56: 10/1/2015 2:42:30 PMLol, is this a joke? All classes are good in their own respects, it's if the player is bad then that's what will play a role.
-
What about golden gun hunters with celestial nighthawk
-
The only reason warlocks can run any class us because they are not neede, I ran the raid yesterday with all hunters and one titan. Warlocks don't even help with their supers, hunters and titans have a job because it is useful in the raid. Warlocks are useless

Hunters are 1 trick ponies
Valid subclasses: Bow for DPS GG for DpS
Titans are 1 trick ponies
Valid Subclasses: Bubble, because bubble Sunbreaker for DPS
Things Warlocks specialize in during the raid
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I mean they can clear ads

Too late

1 ReplyYou're just mad because you can't throw grenades and make a boss so depressed he kills himself anymore. :D

I've got a nova bomb for orgres as a hunter. It's called my rockets
-
8 RepliesThe Nightstalker produces orbs for you or increases the amount of armor and recovery you get. Occasionally, he'll tell "Ninja Vanish" and pick you up when you die. The Bladedancer is the go-to combat medic for when your Warlock f**** up. Oh, you self-rezzed. Let's see how quickly you stay alive then. The Gunslinger staggers Oryx and one-shots ogres while you struggle to time detonating a bomb alongside your allies. The Defender pops a bubble at just the right time to save your ass from death or to increase the damage needed to f*** up the BBEG. The Sunbreaker is regenning his health and dropping adds while adds are dropping you. The Striker is even putting in work on DPS with his Fist of Havoc and lightning grenades. The Stormcaller is mauling the adds that spawn while you're handling Golgoroth. The Sunsinger is buffing his allies or self-rezzing at just the right time to prevent any craziness from befalling the team. The Voidwalker is acting as crowd control while you pretend to know what's going on. TL;DR - Every class has a role to play. Don't act like yours is the best when it's all about the player behind the game.
-
Not the way I'd bring it up, but it's true that titans and hunters have one specific job in this raid and warlocks are more about adds management and gunplay. Warlocks also have the smoothest jump for jumping puzzle. You forgot about Nighthawk gunslingers for dps and hammer titans as well when bubble is not needed.

10 RepliesEdited by PONETHEPOON: 10/1/2015 2:31:31 PMCelestial Nighthawk for Oryx, baby.

I still have my light 160 eao boots just in case... I mean it's not like anyone's shooting at you
-
to be honest all classes are fine, it's just the player behind them that sucks.
-
1 ReplyAll this means is that "one trick pony" is better than all warlock subclasses for the raid lol
-
Nighthawk Gunslinger is always nice :)

Edited by Wolf Noble: 10/1/2015 2:31:34 PMDumb your dumb Dumb
stopped reading because dumb
Hey btw HoS can clear adds very effectively. DPS class. GG with Celestial Nighthawk, staggers bosses, one shots pesty majors. Bladedancer invis, extremely useful. (WAIT! PEOPLE USED THIS FOR TWO OTHER RAIDS??!!? Yeah dumbass.) Striker, basically useless besides the occasional panic super to bail you out of a cqc situation. The flash grenade is great for suppressing enemies though. Not to mention each classes abilities and respective exotics that attribute to specific subclasses. But hey your "Oh no! I died! *self res*" warlock is totally not a "one trick pony" K
-
Striker and bladedancer don't really have a place in the raid, by the other hunter/titan classes do.
-
Stopped reading at "They should be kicked from the raid group." You're part of the problem.
-
Someone's a little mad that their entire Class is useless in the new raid. Hard raid is just going to be worst lol. 33% increase in DPS w/NS and 33% increase w/WOL and 33% increase w/Fire Titan Punch ... warlocks can't add to dps output in anyway.
