BLACK SPINDLE TODAY (ADVICE/STRATS)!!!!
You can get the black spindle again today!
Everyone post here for LFG. Post like this:

Light Level
Subclass
SGA: Taken take more damage from raid weapons, so raid primaries will be a huge plus today (only drop from oryx)
SGA: Add control!! Shoot the black bubbles FIRST so enemies quit spawning. If two of you have amazing guns, let them be boss DPS while one person is add control entirely. This will help very much with the adds after killing the boss
Strategies:
Bubble
[spoiler]Have a Titan defender or two. Go place your bubble on the boss with blessing of light and make everyone have an EXOTIC sword. You sword the boss and he does very quickly![/spoiler]
Touch Of Malice
[spoiler]Again, have some defender Titans with Blessing Of Light and have as many of you with Touch Of Malice as possible. Simply aim and shoot until the boss dies while you stray in and out of the bubble to keep yourself alive while shooting him[/spoiler]
Most basic
[spoiler]Everyone bring your high impact snipers (highest impact currently in game is Black Spindle then Eirene RR4 then 1000 Yard Stare (yes these are all higher than the raid sniper). Everyone hide in the first room and switch between DPS on bosses face and add control when you need it. You STILL need to give priority to the black spawning bubbles or you will be overwhelmed at the end by adds! And finally, everyone have offensive supers to really help clean up the adds[/spoiler]

Black Spindel no longer drops at 310 UNLESS you're light level 300+ then you have a high chance of it dropping at 310.

14 RepliesMe and my other 2 pals really struggled with this. Could barely even get the the room itself. I'm 283 light and they're more like 270 each. Hunter, warlock and Titan. What's the ideal light level and also is it worth keeping going with it?

You do not need insane DPS to conquer this encounter. this means Crowd Control supers and Weaponry! Strategy: Stay safe at the spawn (no need for titan). Snipe/GG the heroics and Blight bubbles, Crowd Control the ADDS, DPS the Ultra. [b]Questions?[/b] Classes should compliment your weapon loadout, balancing both Crowd Control and Heroic Sniping. Titans - sunbreaker Hunters - GG/Bow Warlocks - Zap Zap with increased chaining abilities. [b]Weapons:[/b] loadouts vary on team composition. Balance your Crowd Control and Heroic Matching (elemental damage). Primary - Finish off the adds after using your super Special - Snipe the elemental heroics! Heavy - Crowd Control AOE - ROCKET or LMG for elemental heroics (knights and cabal)

it drops at 310 and in the exotic blue prints it starts at 300. did it with warlock hunter and titan. titan popped a bubble beside boss and we just went ham with 2 exotic swords and 1 legendary. Use the invective if you have it. it destroys the blites and the solar captains... really helps. we killed the boss with 5 minutes left. dont use snipers, shot guns all the way

I did it with 3 nightstalkers. 2 with legendary swords went up to boss, teathered him and smashed him until we died, respawn and keep doing that until the boss dies. The other person concentrate on adds standing in the little area where you first come in. Once the boss has been killed then kill adds and make sure you stay alive. It's important to stay alive otherwise you'll lose precious add killing time. Also try to get to the last room with at least 6 minutes left. We got there with 6:30 left and finished the whole thing with a minute to spare.

Beat it 3 times today without much trouble. Drop bubble beside boss, spam swords, wipe ads, collect spindle.

I soloed it on my warlock. I used stormcaller, tlaloc, omolon sniper rifle, (forgot name of sniper) and sol edge

Two stormcallers, switch off supers to gen orbs for the next guys super. The third teammate should be Titan with weapons or at least Hunter with shadowshot

Just got it. Use sword on yellow elites. Void truth on witches and just keep shooting that boss. Have one guy run around and take out as many bubbles as possible and also try and get a guy on the platform on the back wall.
