I was wondering which class you thought was the least helpful for the raid.
Edit: Wow lots of Warlock hate.
Edit 2: Wow 2000 replies! Thx for all the opinions.

They are all useful I their own way. Maybe it would help to add a scoring system? Warlocks kills adds. Titan gives weapons. And hunters ruin boss damage resist

1 ReplyWarlocks are the least useful. I say this as a warlock main myself, but by no means does this make us useless.

All classes are decent but nightstalkers and defenders border on mandatory.

Edited by Brimstone: 10/5/2015 8:26:42 AMWell, guess Warlocks lack the general DPS increase. But hey I love my Warlock, and relic runner on any of the class (can say it's much better on my Warlock [for me] never jumped too short). Sunsinger with Song of Flame are pretty helpful tho I guess. MOAR grenades and melee! Also with Praxic Fire it's a fusion grenade gatling.

2 RepliesAll classes are good.. the players are the downfall of every fireteam, not the classes imo
-
Depend who's playing with them..

I don't think your poll is valid,if you switched class with subclass it would be more accurate,I myself would say that Strikers or Bladedancers would be the least usefull in most cases, and even they have their use on specific fights.
-
I would say Hunters and Titans are more crucial but I love a Stormcaller to help fry the shadow thralls at Golgoroth.

1 ReplyEdited by VyersReaver: 10/5/2015 7:52:54 AM3620 retards don't want our Bow. Well you won't get into Hard Mode any time soon, while we have an ace up our quivers.
-
We have done it with varied mixes of classes. If everybody knows what they are doing it doesn't matter what class they are running. Our warlocks feed our hunters and titans with orbs which is very important.
-
OP is a tard. Just because I voted Warlock, doesn't mean I hate raiding with warlocks. Titan out.
-
if you had a warlock for add clearing it would be so much easier and less stressful. DPS wise titans and hunters are good but keep in mind everyone can have a black spindle and touch of malice now.
-
4 RepliesI main a warlock but even I have to admit we are the least necessary in this raid. Primarily due to the fact that Nightstalkers bow and weapons of light are extremely useful in this raid. All we have is stormcaller for the adds when the taken are at golgoroth.

Edited by MrPicchu98: 10/5/2015 7:26:52 AMAs a hunter, warlock isnt the most useless, its just the least useful. For example, titans have Defender, probably the BEST PvE class in the game. Hunters just got Nightstalker, really good for crowd control. Sure warlocks have self res, but in the raid, you cant exactly clutch your way back up considering the raid has a lot of wiping mechanics now. Warlocks are still useful, just not as much as the others.
Also warlock jump is booty
Edited by Whubbsie: 10/5/2015 7:23:31 AMNightstalkers seem to be the best to have, then defender Titans, sun breaker Titans and then storm callers ..... But black spindle makes all that moot
-
2 RepliesI don't think it's the class. It's probably because of subclasses. Hunters have Nightstalker, Titans have defender, sun breaker. The warlocks subclasses aren't that helpful with most of the encounters in the Kings fall raid.
-
6 RepliesEdited by FISHERKING: 10/5/2015 3:55:25 AMThere is no such thing as a "worst" class. A fireteam of 6 of any 1 type of character, even any 1 subclass, can beat this raid. It all depends on player skill/experience, as well as comfort with that sub/class.
-
They all come in handy in different ways - Titan and Hunter are self explanatory. But if you put a lock with stormcaller on add duty it's game over. Also on oryx I run sunsinger and take down 2 ogres, spawning 7 orbs for our Titan to always have WoL :)
-
The only reason warlock is being chosen the most is because it doesn't have a support subclass. Nightstalker: tethering an enemy increases damage and every body part becomes a crit shot. Incredibly helpful at all boss fights. Defender: WoD with weapons also increases damage and it's a protective shield for your team. Shoot, even Sunbreakers have the melee that lowers an enemy's defense. Not as helpful, but you get it. The only supportive subclass (can hardly be called that) a warlock has is Sunsinger with the perk that reduces everyone's grenade cooldown when in radiance.
