7 RepliesAnd then you combo the Shadowshot (with blood bound) and use sword of thunder. Then see the swarm of damage numbers appear and void explosions Just a shame they're ain't no exotic to give blood bound and black hole the orb count would be unreal.

I love the exotic swords! I got raze-lighter and bolt-caster at the same time earlier. I just need to level my hunter up a bit so I can do the 300 light Alak Hul strike and I'll have all 3 exotic swords. I took down that Irxis taken fallen that spawns in King's Watch real quick with raze-lighter.

3 Repliesexotic swords are the best replacement for gjallarhorn already, the only bad thing is the range ofc... but in terms of dmg, they are DEVASTATING....

1 ReplyI agree 100% with this. Especially in the case of Bolt Caster. Combine it with Melting Point and you can burn a boss down FAST.

5 RepliesA: This is impressive, but this is just the Court of Oryx. Not the raid. B: This is Bolt Caster, the only sword able to hit from range. The Raze Lighter and Dark Drinker cannot hit from range. They may have a lunge, but lunges don't help you against the warpriest, golgoroth, Sisters, or Oryx. So: Bolt Caster [u][b]may[/b][/u] be worth the slot, but the others aren't. They're freaking awesome and really cool, but not worth it for high level end game activities.

Raze lighter can kill any major in 3 hits or less. (The knight at oryx is the only 3 hit) The block function saves teammates, and can even block insta wipe raid mechanics like the oversoul. You don't have to aim, and the movements when attacking enemies makes it harder for them to track you. Being close isn't an issue when you stagger enemies on every hit. You gain a great armor boost for just holding it. You can use it to climb walls. A titan using it with blessing of light and helm of saint 14 is nearly invincible, and can generate more orbs than any other class with the iron harvest perk active. People who say it's a waste are retarded, and I just wish it wasn't so easy to acquire when they finally realize their mistake.

5 Repliesi fully agreed with this prior to getting raid weapons. now with raid weapons, i dont even run with any exotic any more, so i could see using a exotic sword (situation dependant of course) it not like there is a weapon like Ghorn anymore that is a must have. honestly no exotics so far have been must have items..i iwll let oyu know about ToM tonight after i get mine, but i doubt it is one either.
