If Titans get to throw hammers until the timer runs out, hunters should be able to shoot their golden gun until the timer runs out as well.
Instead of being limited to 3 shots, golden gun should be unlimited until the timer runs out.
Edit: Thanks everyone for your feedback. Lots of great discussion. Hopefully Bungie is paying attention and will make this change, like we all seem to want.

9 RepliesNot exactly shocked that OP has two hunters. Golden Gun would be insane if you had a timer on it. The hammers at least have some travel time. Reduce the damage reduction on the hammer of sol, problem solved 👍

Some rebalance is needed but not there. Maybe less time for the sunbreaker super. You can run around with that for far too long imo.

2 RepliesNo, Golden Gun is too powerful for that kind of duration. You wouldn't believe how quickly I can kill three people with my golden gun. I've mained my hunter since beta.

It uses up your super timer, if you wait halfway through your timer you don't get 7 hammers anymore, you'll be lucky to get 3. Each hammer uses a portion of your super bar unlike golden gun. Golden gun can wait until the last second and take all 3 shots.

5 RepliesNo. You can shoot in a straight line with your golden gun. With the hammer, you toss it like a grenade. It's nowhere near as accurate.

2 RepliesIf you paid attention, SB's don't get unlimited hammers during the time their supers active, throwing a hammer consumes a chunk of the super meter, just like attacking with every other continuous super does (except stormcaller)
