Will Touch of Malice become a raid requirement?
So I got Touch of Malice the other day and I love it, so I decided to use it during Oryx. When you have the immortality, you can use the final shot (which does double damage and never runs out) for as long as you want, so everyone can do high amounts of damage to Oryx. Do you think it will become a raid requirement?
Edit 1: 300 replies and lots of good feedback! I can tell a lot of people for want it but it may be good to use if you're the one running relic.
Edit 2: just wanna put out there that for all the people who don't have ToM, it is a very good and dependable gun. For those calling it trash, I can say with certainty that is false.
Edit 3: Jesus we're at 1100. Does anyone think it'll be extremely important in hard mode?

Nah, to be honest, it's very useful to have a Raze-Lighter for ads and the Vessel. It is solid! I used it in my last Oryx run, and I was impressed.

Low damage unless you're on the last bullet, crappy recoil, and crappy mag size. It's a bad gun that works extremely well in a specific niche.

5 RepliesTo be fair touch of malice isn't that hard to get. I started doing all the calcified fragment hunting yesterday. Using google/YouTube I'm on 39 now. So what I need 6 more and to do a mission or 2? Anyone can do it

It's so good for oryx but if u have a good sniper I don't think people will kick u for not having it. Won't be like a must like gala.

Is it helpful yes. But do I use mine. Not at all. I mean I do for oryx but that's it. Every other part I use my suros

1 ReplyI was helping some kids out with he Daughters yesterday and I just put constant damage with the ToM and I ended with about 500,000 damage on each one. Lol

I have it and find abdolutely no use for it... The only time it becomes useful is when you have a train of thrall coming at you. Other than that it is very inefficient and the damage is not even game breaking. My hawkmoon does about the same damage and way better.to control.and the impact is crazy

It's good, but a good sniper can deal with Sisters/Oryx just as well. The only issue, of course, could be ammo, but ToM isn't a make or break for the raid.

How awesome is that! You have to complete the raid in order to get a weapon you need to own to be able to get invited to the raid! I think that's called a catch-22. I love it when a plan comes together.

With the DPS it has you only need about 2 people with it

It shouldn't be a requirement, but having a couple people with it on really does help a lot

Probably, me and another teammate had ToM and we made Oryx flinch in less than 5 seconds. If all our group had it we could have done it faster.

Noone is willing or good enough to help so your lucky.

After Oryx flinching after 0.5 seconds. And witches dying in 5 seconds, yes

Does it do enough to contribute to the flinch damage required? I know that sustained it can outperform a sniper, but you need a lot of DPS in a really short window to flinch and I think 3-4 sniper shots would do more damage than touch of malice in that same period of time?
