There are still people who play the raid without knowing how to do the section. There are things like youtube to help you im sure if you can play Destiny which requires a network then you can definitely access youtube one way or another. Ive always been helping by explaining the mechanics of the raid on different stages but sometimes it gets really tiresome. Cmon guys there are so many sources to help you guys out to understand the raid so USE IT!! The videos are so detailed that you cannot go wrong. By now all the guides are up and its not like the first week because that i can understand since noone really knows what to do.
Everyone makes mistakes i understand but totally not knowing what to do is a different story altogether. You may die multiple times in the raid no one cares as long you know what you're doing then that's good because everytime you do it again you definitely tend to avoid your previous mistakes. It's like a learning process so please use all these guides to get yall started for the raid.
Oh and just incase if someone tells me that they don't want to look at videos due to spoiler than it's actually no different from someone spending 20 over mins explaining it to you during the raid in my opinion.
Edit: Okay thank you all the replies i now see that im in the wrong . I sincerely apologise for being impatient and an elitist.
Edit: To all those smartass who keeps talking about going in blind for the full experience. I don't give a fk if you want that experience do it with buddies but when you're in lfg and joining a group you honestly think that the group you're finding for is gonna tolerate you for not knowing a single thing with so many sources of help around?
Why are you guys even telling me about going in blind I can't give a fk because when you're in my team I'm not gonna be like " Hey I'll let you figure out this part by yourself since you want that "experience" go fk yourself you either know or you fking don't .
If you don't I always teach but do you know what it feels like to be doing the teaching in every group every single time ? Annoying ! That's the whole purpose of this post . So stop telling me about how you wanna do it blind because when ur in my team I'm not gonna let you fking take your leisure walk and invite more frustration and gazillion wipes just because you wanna be a blind fag!

Instead of complaining or being arrogant some people don't mind teaching players the mechanics

Bad day?

2 RepliesHow do you think the first people to complete it learned? By doing. I enjoy failing and learning from it. Its called life, in general. All old games from when I was a kid were beaten with experience. No internet to find the easy way. I love doing things on my own! Hell, 90% of the fun is learning to do it by yourself! I figured out skyburner alone...how? Grinding!! It doesn't take much to explain mechanics to a noob in any raid. It's not like any of it is rocket science!
-
because its a lot more fun running a raid blind rather than watching vids or having somene tell you step by step. whats the point of knowing it all before heading in!
-
I have completed the raid however some people do not watch videos or play 24 hours a day so they have to learn
-
Because I would rather experience the raid first hand and learn as Im doing it then cheapen the experience by watching all the "strategies" and crap on youtube.
-
1 ReplyVery experienced raider, haven't done kings fall yet and refuse to see anything about it before I experience it first hand. You're an idiot.
-
3 RepliesYoutube =/= experience
-
Watching a video isn't the same as learning hands on and applying that knowledge. People are going to screw up
-
Uhm, people have LIVES and don't want to watch someone else play a game they own. Grow up, kid. Or you won't actually survive on LFG for long.
-
I don't need it explained I learn from doing it.
-
Ouch. All that salt. Must sting.
-
Now I can understand how tiresome it can be to constantly describe and explain each part. (I've done it a couple of times for VoG, Crota and other games) but you should be good enough to explain clearly what to do to noobs because the mechanics aren't the hard part it's the execution as a team. So you can know what to do but if you can't actually do them (surviving while opening the gate before the war priest for an example) Then again it's only been a week, I'm sure most weren't experienced during the first couple of weeks for VoG
-
Congrats! You've just told all of us how awesome and egotistical you are... MUTE.
-
12 RepliesLol these peasants here who have never beaten oryx.

1 ReplySorry sweetcheeks. Haven't played since the drop of TTK. Son had open heart surgery, still want to call everyone idiots? When I get back Imma be that guy you speak of because I HAVE REAL SHIT GOING ON IN MY LIFE NOT LIVING MY LIFE THROUGH A VIDEO GAME! ..... Sorry about that, just needed to say that. Now, continue on insulting all of us while you feel like you are better at life because of a game :-) btw, my kids a badass
-
You're not wrong for wanting experienced people. The resources are out there. If people want to play the raid blind, no problem. They can find or form a group that is OK with that. You want experience, no problem with that either. I took a group through the entire raid, having to explain every fight. I didn't mind it the first time. But after the 7th time this one kid (squeaker) messed up on sisters due to not listening, he got the boot. It's wasting my time, and your fellow Raiders time. We all have different objectives playing this game. We can all play it how we want.
-
What a selfish reason.
-
Just want to learn for myself... I mean imagine what the live streamers feel like going into a brand new raid, the excitement... I want that too
-
Maybe some people don't like spoilers?
-
2 RepliesWhat if: doing shit right the first time without trial an error is boring as -blam!- and you should get over yourself. Can't wait till the Internet rolls back to 2000 and all the social media is gone. All we will have to lend to any game knowledge is simple text posts and wordy walkthroughs.
-
12 RepliesSome of us remember the days of gaming before the internet when you figured stuff out. That's still a fun aspect for some of us.
-
1 ReplyYour one of the many idiots who ruin this game. I hope you get enough negative comments from good players to realize how stupid you are. In the real world I'm sure you encounter things you don't know how to do. I'm sure you've been in a store and can't find something. I hope in all those situations when you ask for help you get told to go fck yourself. Have a good one :)

It amazes me that people like you expect people to appreciate their posts when you resort to using language like "fking" and "blind fag". I'm sorry but do you really expect to be taken seriously ?. One of the (many) reasons I skip over threads and posts is because of the need to result to cheap jibes to get what might be, a valid point across. Why couldn't you simply have said "I understand that some people want to raid having never seen any of it before. However, if you want to raid with me, or as part of my fire team, I'd really appreciate it if you would have watched a few videos and got the basics clear in your mind as to what the raid entails" and then something along the lines of "I'd like to get a run done as quickly and smoothly as possible. If you forget stuff then I'll try to remind you but knowing the basics of the boss fights is pretty essential" I'd have read that and thought, yeah, fair enough .... But I read yours and thought "What a rant!"

Dude tell me about it I get a request for help from a 5 man fire team so I join . Turns out 2/6 people can't follow instructions to activate the red bubble tether at the priest . They jus kept jumping on the blue plate when it lit up destroying the sequence dictated by the glowing ruins . It's not JYST that some don't know what they are doing but some refuse to listen . Like when the glowing orb came into existence one kid kept screaming "shoot it shoot it " causing mass confusion . ( it's not Croats over soul arg!) All we had to do was get in the shade and wait .... I just left after .... Gave up on trying w ppl that didn't care to get it right
