WHY DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THE RAID ?
There are still people who play the raid without knowing how to do the section. There are things like youtube to help you im sure if you can play Destiny which requires a network then you can definitely access youtube one way or another. Ive always been helping by explaining the mechanics of the raid on different stages but sometimes it gets really tiresome. Cmon guys there are so many sources to help you guys out to understand the raid so USE IT!! The videos are so detailed that you cannot go wrong. By now all the guides are up and its not like the first week because that i can understand since noone really knows what to do.
Everyone makes mistakes i understand but totally not knowing what to do is a different story altogether.You may die multiple times in the raid no one cares as long you know what you're doing then that's good because everytime you do it again you definitely tend to avoid your previous mistakes. It's like a learning process so please use all these guides to get yall started for the raid.
Oh and just incase if someone tells me that they don't want to look at videos due to spoiler than it's actually no different from someone spending 20 over mins explaining it to you during the raid in my opinion.

Edit: To all those smartass who keeps talking about going in blind for the full experience. I don't give a fk if you want that experience do it with buddies but when you're in lfg and joining a group you honestly think that the group you're finding for is gonna tolerate you for not knowing a single thing with so many sources of help around?
Why are you guys even telling me about going in blind I can't give a fk because when you're in my team I'm not gonna be like " Hey I'll let you figure out this part by yourself since you want that "experience" go fk yourself you either know or you fking don't .
If you don't I always teach but do you know what it feels like to be doing the teaching in every group every single time ? Annoying ! That's the whole purpose of this post . So stop telling me about how you wanna do it blind because when ur in my team I'm not gonna let you fking take your leisure walk and invite more frustration and gazillion wipes just because you wanna be a blind fag!

I think his point is that if you want to figure it out on your own you should have your fire team on board with it. Lfg are usually for people who want to get it done. There is nothing wrong with research before as well. It's good to be prepared and it's just not just about you. My advise for teaching somebody is to have ONE person explain it at a time. Nothing more annoying then 3 people talking at once trying to explain it. It ends up not being any help. This raid seems to be designed on success in team work and communication. A simple concept that goes along way

I havnt played the raid yet. Been waiting till I have a full night to delve in and enjoy it. I won't watch anything online because I like a challenge. You sound 13

I would rather figure it out or be taught which our team did a combination of that and we completed it. It ruins the experience.

Because I've been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and haven't been able to participate in the raid. Tell me what I need to do. I'll do it. Not like I've never raided before, or unlike most people doing this raid for the first time. I'm not going to watch a video of it though. I'd like some wonder and awe in the participation.

Just like irl, some people are well prepared and others aren't and leech off society like a friggen cancer. It's up to us the prepared to weed out the trash and give the boot to the people that are detrimental. It's not hard, watch a friggen 5 min video or read a 3 minute tutorial...

I agree I have had to explain to new raid people how to do a boss encounter then run it a few times wipe because they died. Then they get frustrated and leave or some one else on my raid team leaves then I have to get another new person explain it to them then wipe. I mean come on man at least know the basic mechanics and say yeah I know what to do but have not done it yet and if you have any questions then I'll help. If you want to go in blind then as a person put that in to the description that's you want to go bling. But many people don't have hours to play they want to go in the raid beat the boss and move one not babysit

Personally, at least the first time, I want to do it without a youtube video. YouTube has killed puzzles in games and eliminates a lot of the fun that comes from figuring it out for yourself. Now if you're recruiting people on the forums then just make sure to add that you have to have done the raid before.

I agree on YT thing. If you don't have about 9 hours to do it blind then you could at least search some guides. I haven't tried the raid yet and with guides I already have a pretty clear understanding of the Warpriest and Golgoroth

I just don't like people who suck. I expect to wipe quite a bit since many people don't know what to do yet. But when everyone is talking at the same time (about football) and the add guy isn't killing fcking adds and is dpsing the boss I get pissed. Pay attention or go play something else. I don't have all night for just golgoroth ffs. I don't mind if it takes 30-60 minutes. 2 hours is ridiculous though.

Our team is figuring it out as we go having a blast. YouTube and streams take a lot of fun away from the raid.

I agree. Don't use lfg if u are going in blind. If u don't have friend to play with why even play at all. This is a game where u have to have ppl to enjoy it to the full potential. Idc what anyone says. I had to learn with no help and videos. So can newbies

Chill out, realize that not everyone plays every second of the day and some people have lives outside of destiny, and offer to explain it to them and help them through so that [u]next week[/u] they don't have this problem. Like 88,000 out of 1,000,000 people actually beat the raid on week one. People need to be taught, nicely.
