This is the most hypocritical and biased community I have ever been apart of and its embarrassing.
You people cry for MONTHS on how Bungie is slow to act. How they take forever to get anything done. How it took months to get Vault space for instance.
Now they have responded to two issues (The 3 of Coin Exploit and the Black Spindle Damage Bug) in record time and now you are wallowing in puddles of tears and piss because they reacted so quickly.
You are upset because THESE are bugs and exploits that you don't WANT fixed because they benefit you.
Don't sit there and give me the "ITS THEIR FAULT FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION SO THEY SHOULD DEAL WITH IT" excuse because you sound like a child stamping your foot over not getting a cookie after dinner when you say that.
These are [i]BUGS/EXPLOITS[/i] and just like all bugs and exploits they didn't show up until AFTER we got our hands on the items in question. It happens all the time in games. The difference being that this time the bug/exploit is beneficial to us rather than being a hindrance. So now you people are crying tears of blood over the fact that they are going to fix them.
They are [i]BUGS[/i]. They are [i]EXPLOITS[/i].
Its their JOB as a developer to fix these things regardless of whether they are "Good bugs" or "Bad Bugs".
You are -blam!-ing hypocrites.
Either you want them to fix the game when problems show up or you want them to leave the game alone when it breaks.
You people are embarrassing yourselves with your own bias. You have the weapon so OF COURSE you want it to stay at 310. Just like the Ghorn owners wanted it to remain untouched. You are so close to the problem that you are incapable of seeing it clearly.
You are stamping your feet and demanding the bug not be fixed because it benefits you and in the same breath you are demanding they take timely action for bugs that affect you negatively.

So why is it that when something desperately needs patching they take 9 months and when something that positively affects players they remove it instantly. You know why? Because they want to draw you into the grind, force you to spend months to get something you want. It's a very clever tactic and gaming companies have hired phycologists to aid in them creating more addiction for their game. Its common place across all the large gaming companies. PVP was broken for 9 months. 9 MONTHS, that is unacceptable. Heavy ammo glitch? Months upon months to fix. The fact you are protecting these poor business practices is incomprehensible in all honesty. The fact you made a post about it is even worse. More fool you. There would be so many LESS people complaining about this, if they took the same amount of time to fix other 'bugs'. Not to mention Black Spindle it's self has a Scope bug, which they didn't mention thy were going to fix... thats ironic right?? This just takes the bacon.

1) the way the coding works, it would not bug it out at 310 attack. The value would have been entered accidentally. 2) using three of coins isn't an exploit. They were too short sighted to realize that it could be used as such. 3) there's still bugs, glitches, and lag since day 1. Why aren't those fixed asap?

People made three of coins draksis posts before the coins came out....sooo technically they could have fixed them before the releasing them.

They haven't fixed the spindle actually. They are still 310 and the prints are still 300. And because they didn't properly test their own invention, 3oC, we are exploiting? Bull.

Bungie is quick to act when players find something that benefits them, even if it's an "exploit". But they took 6 months to fix the heavy ammo being taken away from us when we die or go to orbit. And it took them 6 months to make sure that Xur always sold heavy ammo synth. There was a time when he went 6 weeks without selling it and Crota's End was relatively new so people were having to abuse glitches to get heavy ammo. Bungie obviously knew that was BS because now there are heavy ammo crates on strikes in TTK. But of course now Xur only sells 3 synth for 1 coin. There's always a negative trade off with Bungie. They can't buff something without needing something else. It's really frustrating how inconsistent Bungie is.

On this forum people will complain about everything and anything to do with Destiny, mostly going full retard without reading patch notes. People have the right tot free speech, granted some people really shouldn't be allowed that right but its life of the internet forums. Choose not to read the one with titles like 'Bungie had lied to us again', 'I'm quitting Destiny', 'Destiny is dead', nerf this and nerf that as most are just people crying for attention and or trolling as they have so little else going on in their lives and they need the attention they get from putting on overly negative comments.

Well, yes. It takes them months to fix legitimate issues, or add features the community desperately wants added, but once something that actually benefits the players comes out, they automatically rush to ruin it. I understand fixing the bad things take time, but at least give us notice that you're working on them.

The only reason everyone's getting so pissed about it is because for most people they tried quite hard to earn it. With it being a 310 weapon it is a great reward for such a hard mission. They should just reduce the attack level for when the weapon drops again, not reduce the attack level for people who already have the weapon, that's a little unfair considering the time and effort some people put into this in my opinion.

Thorn and shotguns OP for 9 months. We wanted a Nerf for those weapons all that time. The heavy ammo glitch, the Sprint glitch, atheon's glitches, crota running into the Crystal room... It goes on and on. Black spindle less than 24 hours after its discovery is set for a Nerf.

Ignored for months. Balance issues? Ignored for months. Progression blocks, game-breaking bugs, connection issues? Ignored for months. Never even mentioned. I think people's complaint is more that it's appearing that it's incredibly quick and easy for them to fix a bug that is helping the community, yet when it comes to fixing bugs that actually make the experience worse it appears to take far, far more time.

That nerf came swiftly and hit before the event ended. In addition, you should've been here when the Reach Forum was a thing. Oh my lord say lolreach was bad and get 75+ replies of attacks in an hour or so. All, coincidentally, from newbies to Halo or people who were just plain bad at Halo 3.
