  • Nope. I'm asking, "what the hell", as in "What the hell? Why should shotties not be allowed in Crucible?"

  • Oh, I see... Because it discourages actual gun play and it does not translate to skill level. Someone who blinks+shotguns the whole match and cannot actual aim a gun should not be able to to take out someone of superior skill. Problem with the shotgun though, is that it is specifically a close range weapon. Nerfing it would just make it so people would just melee instead, rendering the whole weapon class useless. So, instead of going through all the messy programing and time to reach the same point, it would just make more sense to ban it outright. Though, it is a bit extreme. A great solution would to actualy make the shotgun a heavy weapon, and increase it's range and fire rate.

... That's a terrible way of stopping people from relying on Shotties. And turning it into a heavy?!? The hell? Bungie should increase the range of Shotties by a Tiny bit(Since most shotties in real life can shoot much farther than what Destiny has) but decrease the impact and increase the Falloff to where it needs two shots for a Felwinter's Lie type(High Impact, low RoF) at all ranges unless aiming for the head, which should be onehit kill. And for Shotguns that have medium Impact and Medium Firerate(Shotties similar to Invective) should be a three hit kill unless a headshot. I also think it should compliment a melee attack too so if Bungie implements this make a Melee with oneshot for Felwinter's Lie-like Shotties to kill and a melee and two shots for Invective like Shotties. That's how it kinda use to be like at the beginning. Plus if some "skilled" player get's killed by a shotty then it seems kinda like their fault.
