This is why trials was delayed
Bungie wanted to see how the new subclasses compared to the old ones. And thank god they did. With sunbreaker in its current state, trials would be broken.
The only think that I think should happen to the super is it should a one shot headshot to HIGH impact snipers and GG. Apart from that I'm ok with the super as it is
Edit: FYI I did have a Titan but deleted him a while ago, (check my grimoire) Might just remake him to experience this fair and totally balanced super.

It's not supers that break trials And Sunbreaker is NOT op (I'm main a hunter). Hammers don't scare me. It's LAG, and CHEATING that ruins trials. (I'm bad a crucible FYI)

Trials being delayed has more to do with the damage difference algorithm more than class balancing. Theres the light difference and weapon damage difference to factor in it so it will take them some time.

2 RepliesSo hunters should be able to insta kill someone across the map and still have 3/4 of their super left? If so, you are horribly mistaken. The only time I've really seen anyone die to a sunbreaker, is when I see them go all Leroy Jenkins on the Titan. Then they rage because they tried to point blank a Titan with GG! Now I am not a Titan fanboy, and I main a hunter, but when someone uses a super, they should be able to do massive amounts of damage. It last for 20-30 seconds! I've killed more people with my nightstalker, than I have with my sunbreaker! In conclusion, don't go full retard and try to play hero against a super. If you see a teammate shooting a person with a super, Join in and help them as much as possible. If you're the only one shooting a guy with a super, expect to have you body splattered over the closest wall.

As a sun breaker, I can tell you people a are most successful when turning and running. Although us titans can move from point a to b faster than any other class, we can't maneuver around corners and maps as well. That being said I would be fine with a damage reduction nerf, as long as the abilities are not harmed.

I used to main a titan and think it's OP if I hey get more armor than a bladedancer or sunsinger or fist of havoc or voidwalker that's when a super is OP

2 RepliesThe hit box is way to big. I'm talking about throwing the hammer on a line, not on the ground. (That would be blast radius, not hit box) I've watched hammers fly over my head that register as hitting me directly. They need to fix the hit box. It's like three guardians out in every direction right now.

1 ReplyI just don't understand how I do 412-423 damage to the head on every player with my sniper. I can kill every super in the game except Sunbreaker.. By some way in hell I hit him in the head and get 193 damage? But I can kill a sunsinging ram? K.

Tbh Im pretty sure it was because (if following HoW numbers) Trials gear gives MAX light. So they didnt want people to be light 310 so soon after release.

Black spindle / hammer and efrideets spear will one shot a sunbreaker but any sniper with an impact lower than 37 will not.

3 RepliesStormcaller needs some better perks, bit of the other classes have good support perks, even sunbreaker, while stormcaller only has a minor agility boost. The chaining is still op but ionic blink is a waste.
