We paid for the extra levels why should non-buyers get it. To reach 32 you need dark below. To reach 34 you need the house of wolves. So not only are able to go up to a level we paid for, you get to get by all the dlc's. Oh and I'm definately not alone, 76% voted against your poll.

44 RepliesJust to clear something up for the people that have ttk and are wondering why would non ttk owners want to reach level 40... WEAPONS!!! All the new exotics require level 40 to use. Would it hurt the game if non ttk owners were level 40 so they can use some new exotics?

No. You want those privileges, cough up and support the future of the game, rather than leeching off everyone else's good will. $40 doesn't even pay for a decent night out these days. There would be no difference if they could get to 40, your power is determined by light level and as they couldn't wear the new armour they would still be stuck at 170, it wouldn't make any difference

Why do they need to reach level 40 where all they have paid for so far requires them to be 34 max.. Nothing in the game requires them to be higher then that. Only exception is iron banner and trials.. An easy fix would be to scale up year 1 gear for those events, and limit them to the year 1 versions of those events

I always thought it was a mistake letting people who did not buy a dlc get the new wepons and lvl cap. I'm happy that they did it this way

No support, but it wouldn't even matter. The Year One gear wouldn't allow anyone to attempt the Nightfall or Weekly Heroic.
