Any positive guardians still out there?
I've just noticed recently being more active on the forums the levels of negativity! It's toxic. Any genuine people still on these forums?

2 RepliesIt's not the negativity, it's the responses to negativity, people can't have an opinion or discuss things on here because of biased fanboys who love the game no matter what, plus you get the trolls. Being positive is fine but showing flaws in the game to make improvements is also ok, because a lot of the complaints have resulted in changes for the better.

Dam right! Been here since day one. Still loving the game. Working on getting my chaperone shotgun from Mrs. Holiday. Insanely high ranks in all my factions. Been hacked once,but still came back to cleanse the darkness from what's left of our planets. Screw oryx and the taken. I will do as I please.

I've been away from destiny for a loooong time. I got it when it came out, played untill I finished the story and did some strikes and some crucible stuff then ran out of stuff to do.. So I played for about 2-3 weeks and haven't played since. Mainly because I was one of those negative dudes. "I got ripped off"... "I'm sick of doing the same stuff over and over again for nothing" etc. etc. But recently I was sitting in front of my local EB games eating my maccas watching TTK on their displays and I'll be damned if I wasn't sold. And I'm glad I was. I sceptically bought the upgrade and my opinion has done a complete 180 in regards to destiny. It doesn't seem to be so much of a grind but equally it's still challenging. I still think the social side of things can use an improvement but all in all I'm really enjoying destiny again.

1 ReplyI'm still here. I thought this community would be better than CoDs (still better to some extent) but people are just inherently rotten. There are certainly kind people playing Destiny. Everyone I've ever done raids with are just the kindest people ever. They didn't even care when I was a noob and had next to no idea how the raids worked. They were nice enough to teach me me and carry me, and now I started to do the same thing for other lower guardians who want to make it big out here in the wild. You guys realize how important even the new guardians can be one day, and I even know a new player that ended up surpassing me. To all the nice people out here in Destiny, I thank you for being around.

I'm still here. Always will be. The only thing that could get me to stop playing Bungie games is if they start making them puzzle 2D scrolling games. And I think that seems unlikely.

Too many of the gamers I've come across play like they're about to make or break the presidency or lotto or as if they're getting cut a check from Bungie contingent upon passing a damn level. I'm a gamer without a mic. We get shitted on constantly yet with every group I've played with I've come through for. Level 296 Hunter & leveling up my Titan. I've meet some awesome people who have surprised me but there is no balance for the people who disappoint. I'm very helpful. I don't mind helping anyone level up or even do as much of a raid or strike that is possible. If anyone ever wants to play, raid, strike or otherwise just HMU on my gamertag. XBOX ONE: GT: DeathxCloak. I hope to hear from some positive people!!! Happy Gaming guys! (: and remember if one person isn't willing to help someone else always is! (:

I hope I am genuine. Sometimes I get a little irritated and childish. But I think I am doing well at avoiding that. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I posted something super hostile and disturbing though. I can't believe how many people do it.
