Year 1 guns banned from year 2 games
Hello fellow guardians. How much do you love playing new maps with a new sub class?
Yah me too, know what I don't love...at all? Picking up the spark only to have my face melted by fellwinters or judgment 6 4 or part crasher.
This is year 2 if you are playing that game type you spend 40$ minimum only to be a dick and use the same old guns?
I would love nothing more than to have all year one guns and armour banned from all year 2 crucible events...or, have a constant game Playlist that enables gear disadvantages so your party crasher does 100 less damage than my 270 blue shotgun.
Moral of the story is piss off this that year one trash.

Who cares? If you're good it doesn't matter what weapon people are using, since none of them are actually OP at the moment.

With shot package being removed from the game, everyone will either have to re-forge their year one weapons or use new ones. It looks like you're getting your wish.

Who cares all those kids who need their year 1 clutch weapons won't be able to use them in iron banana so lol Btw year 1 ended some time ago m8 I think felwinter needs to go UNLESS they bring it back for Y2 iron banana lol

You can also use old stuff, or you can be a stronger player and learn to deal with a year-old meta like everyone else. I snipe in crucible and can end a solid amount of shotgunners before they get to lethal range, but if they do I either kill him with a primary, kill him with the lucky no-scope, or die. I deal. TL;DR: Deal.

20 RepliesNo way in hell I'm gonna trow away my year one IB gear and rerolled legendary weapons from year 1. Tough luck for you, year one players worked for it and it's bad enough that they're only usefull for a couple of gamemodes.

Sounds like your garbage lol. Year 1 gear is for year 1 players. Perks have been modified, shot package is going away.

How about game modes where only y2 weapons are allowed... I can't let go of my final boss or invisible hand :(
