I'm unpleasantly surprised that, after the third dlc drops, we still won't have a new, playable planet. I feel like they owe me the cost of the season pass, a raid and 3 new planets. I can see this game going one of two ways, at this point. Either good, complete games will drop soon, and absolutely kill it, or other devs will follow suit and gut their games out. We have to hope for option 1. If option 2 happens, it could kill console gaming. If good games did drop, and Bungie took a 40% sales drop, it would force Luke to get off his ass and actually create new content. This guy has been behind schedule and underwhelming since Crota. I'm not hoping it dies, just hoping for a wake up call of sorts. If we collectively didn't buy TtK, it would force them into actually developing new content.

You didn't know that this was the beta? I'm sorry, but hey now you know
-
Well there is a new patrol area, there are new maps on mercury and if I remember right there was mention of missions on saturn.

9 RepliesI don't think they've made anything new and won't. I bet they have 6 more dlcs already packed up and all they do is move around a few codes. Luke smith doesn't do shit...just rides the work others took years making but have since left. They are just going to pull shit out of the freezer and go " oh look new and shiny with everything you've been asking for. Ignore that packed date!!! "

Bump. I really hope other companies and Devs see the negative reaction from the fanbase and steer away from designing future games like this. The sales numbers will entice them but if they are smart they will look at Destiny 2's sales where there will be a significant drop off from Destiny 1.

1 ReplyOwe you? Hahaha self entitled much?
-
3 RepliesMercury was in the trailer bud. Dreadnought is orbiting Jupiter. But go ahead and quit. WE WONT MISS YOU.
-
2 RepliesI hate to spoil it for you but TTK actually has more content that both previous DLCs had.. Dreadnaught is a "planet sized " area with its own patrols , public events etc.. 1 new raid.. Biggest addition of gear than previous DLCs.. Multiple new strikes - crucible maps etc .. A major revamp of old content.. New Crucible modes.. I mean seriously.. If you are not satisfied is respected.. But don't tell us that all these are not new content.. It is a major infusion of new content..

5 RepliesNobody owes you anything. I pity the poor soul who ever owes anything to someone as insignificant as you

12 RepliesEdited by Charlemagne: 8/23/2015 7:20:17 PMTIL Mercury and Saturn (albeit a ship outside of it) aren't planets. I get what you mean though. However, TTK is adding a location as large as a planetary location (or at least close to it since we don't have exact measurements). While there's only one new patrol area, we're also getting missions on Phobos and Mercury, like how we had them in the Black Garden in the original game. If you're not satisfied with what you've seen so far, that's totally fine. Hold off until reviews and people you talk to have played it. There's nothing wrong with waiting. Also, you should know that Luke Smith didn't lead the first two expansions or the game, just The Taken King.

1 ReplyWell, oryx's drednaught orbiting Saturn is made to me a very dense and challenging explorable area. So you are getting one no it's not a planet but it's a patrol none the less. I wouldn't mind a new planet but I'm pretty exited to explore the fortress of a hive God.

Edited by Insomniatron: 8/23/2015 8:40:06 PMOne small scene from a TTK trailer shows a spaceship in the "dropping to planet" loading screen, but going to Saturn. But yeah, I expected like, a new planet per DLC. Instead, we have one new social space. Year 2 is the first truly new area we've seen. That's very disappointing. They mentioned other areas in the teasers before Destiny was launched. At least one other planet, plus other locations on known planets, like a Chicago area on Earth. For f*'s sake, just finish them up, add bad guys and public events, and make them a new patrol area. Add missions later if you can find a way to use them. I'd be just fine patrolling another Earth area as a patrol/material/bounty grind, even if no actual story missions went on there.

2 RepliesHow are we supposed to walk on Jupiter Saturn etc
-
Its a farce of epic costly proportions. A hive ship is your lot pve wise.
-
Saturn in the trailer.
-
1 ReplyNext dlc we run the dreadnought.. But upside down!
-
4 Replies[X-wings are approaching Death Star] (Oryx Dreadnaught) Wedge Antilles (Red 2): Look at the *size* of that thing! Red Leader: Cut the chatter, Red 2. Accelerate to attack speed. Lock s foils in attack position.
-
2 RepliesDreadnaught is basically our new "planet". And since they've -blam!-ed up the story so much, I'd prefer they work on fixing that first. Hopefully year 2 will see us hitting the moons of Jupiter and some other places now that they've opened the system to the space beyond the asteroid belt, but we'll see. And I think TTK is the first thing Luke Smith has actually had to design, or whatever the -blam!- he does. The first two DLCs, with the exception of PoE, were already fully completed.
-
We sorta get Saturn and we get Mars moons
-
dreadnaught is a portable planet.
-
The moon isn't a planet and that's playable. Also dreadnought new playable space.
-
2 RepliesThe dreadnaught is on Saturns Rings and the dreadnaught is so big you can PATROL it.
-
2 RepliesComets are the only expansions that will add big areas like planets.
-
2 RepliesAre we not getting Phobos?
-
*Cough* Saturns rings and dreadnaugt *Cough*
-
Patrol zones are just as good.

11 RepliesHate fanboys defending destiny. This is a real honest post. Just accept that your getting your money literally stolen. You can still play the game like me. But op has a point.
