3rd dlc and no new planets
I'm unpleasantly surprised that, after the third dlc drops, we still won't have a new, playable planet. I feel like they owe me the cost of the season pass, a raid and 3 new planets. I can see this game going one of two ways, at this point. Either good, complete games will drop soon, and absolutely kill it, or other devs will follow suit and gut their games out. We have to hope for option 1. If option 2 happens, it could kill console gaming. If good games did drop, and Bungie took a 40% sales drop, it would force Luke to get off his ass and actually create new content. This guy has been behind schedule and underwhelming since Crota. I'm not hoping it dies, just hoping for a wake up call of sorts. If we collectively didn't buy TtK, it would force them into actually developing new content.

1 ReplyWhat other planet? Cool, you want a -floof-ing mission on mercury where you want endless ves killing you instantly because they have made the terrain specifically for them? Okay. The only planet we can possibly go to that hasn't been visited yet is on the edge of the solar system, and I don't know if I can really consider it a planet. (Hint: Starts with plu, ends with word that rhymes with toe.)

2 RepliesThe dreadnought is just as big as a planet. We will also get the opportunity to explore Phobos. I don't think we will be able to patrol it however.

Rather than new planets, I'd rather see the current ones expanded; they're quite small in my opinion... but the game is supposedly going over 10 years, so you need something for the new games when they come out

Well you have the dread naught which is a ship I know, but there is a part of the story that you do on Mercury in TTK it was mentioned in the GI article

I wanted something to do with the Cabal or something else entirely, 2 expansions to do with the hive is making it stale. And the taken aint new enemies, same enemies that glow gray and having different fighting mannerisms.

4 RepliesI don't really get how this works, patrol on an enemy ship? Granted it's big but surly there can only so many hive or guardians on it? If it's like current patrol where groups of enemies just stand there I'll be disappointed, hopefully, on their ship they'll be much more aggressive.

5 RepliesThis fall a ton of Triple A titles will be dropping which will do more to sink Destiny (Luke Smith) than a few people not prepurchasing TTK could ever hope to do. Only reason Destiny has survived this long was due to a lack of good games being released. This fall will change all that!! Hell BO3 is already taking over my friends list and its only beta.. Can wait for all the new games!

The dreadnought might not be a actual planet but it's the size of a planet map size wise they are saying it's as big as Venus, plus we can visit Mars moon (Phobos) for a story mission and some people are saying there are quests that happen on Mercury (though I haven't seen anything from Bungie confirming this).

9 RepliesWell we are going to Mercury (Titans go there for hammer of sol quest) so that's a new planet for PVE (excluding PvP). Phobos which is where TTKs first mission takes place so that's pretty much a new place. The drednaught (supposed to be much bigger then earth on patrol), new place. If you haven't paid attention to any lore or story behind destiny then you would know that planets past the reef have been consumed by darkness. The reef which lies past Mars is the last place that the light touches. I think that in destiny 2 we may go past the reef but our guardians are not ready for why lies past there, I mean oryx is coming from that part of the system so imagine what other worse things could be out there.
