At the cost of graphics and other minor details. Is it worth losing all this "potential" stuff about halo 5 for split screen?

No my girlfriend sucks at FPS games.

8 Replies>join 5v5 solo >sees that my entire team is on one screen >they lose connection >game turns into 5v1 Nope, no way I'm missing it.

1 ReplyWhy did they take out split screen?
-
Absolutely. Split screen on Halo, or a matter of fact, any game was my childhood. BRING it BACK
-
1 ReplyNo split screen is a good thing. A stronger Campaign and no burdens in matchmaking, sure I'll sacrifice split screen for a that. They've explained why it's gone. And it's acceptable. People will cling onto memories for an excuse buts it's better this way. A game with guests just hinders everything. The game doesn't become very stable at all. Every time I see guests on my team I know that my team is already at a disadvantage.

Its clear that desptie the fact of game devs continually taking it out people still love split screen.dying light would be awesome with split screen
-
5 RepliesWhat if Gears, CoD, MoH, and more shooters eliminated split-screen? How would you all think and feel about that?
-
My brother and I were just talking about not having split screen in Destiny. It should defiantly be available.

Does a Spartan kill Covies?
-
No, only reason I ever used split screen past Halo 2 was so my daughter could play with me. Especially in MCC. So now that it's removed I really don't care.
-
1 ReplyA group of 4 split screeners on one screen can make a 5v5 turn very quickly into a 5v1
-
1 ReplyImo, most people buying games like halo, are adults. I just think we are past the having your friends spend the night to split screen. Just saying.

There's nothing that can be done about it now, but yes, Split screen/local MP is one of the best aspects of gaming. There's only so much Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. that'll suffice at a party before your mates want to play another game.

Minor details? How many people really use split screen? A small minority for campaign and then some screen lookers that would prefer to hold back the campaign so they can play split screen multiplayer? I'm glad it's gone. I want the campaign not to be held back and in multiplayer when the other person can see exactly where an enemy is when they've killed the other Erwin is shit.

6 RepliesI just bought an old 360 so i can play my old games with my sister, don't expect the gaming industry to evolve positively in the next few years. >Xbox One can let you hook up 8 controllers at once >Not a single game has Split-Screen except for COD AWshit, PvZ and Minecraft. Kek

10 RepliesIm ok with no split screen. BUT ITS BULLSHIT THAT THEY CLAIM THEY ARE PROGRESSING FORWARD BY LEAVING SPLITSCREEN BEHIND. Good day chaps
-
Bring back? They never should have taken it out.
-
2 RepliesWell, if they did that then people would complain that it's not 60 fps. The gaming community is like a bunch of kids. They want 60 fps and 1080p but when something they like has to be cut for it then they conplain, but if it's not 60 fps and 1080p then they'll conplain that it's a game on a new new console that doesn't look like it

3 RepliesMy favorite part about this thread is probably the pro split screeners reactions. They're acting as if the world is literally coming to an end. Quite comedic.
-
I dont care that much. I bought Halo 5 for the multiplayer and warzone
-
27 RepliesNo. It's a dead technology for an otherwise dead way to game. It was fun while it lasted, but it's time to devote more resources to better parts of the game.
-
6 RepliesYes. I would rather play split screen than play by my self at 60fps. I really don't see why they can't do both though.
-
Easy solution to enable split screen turn off recording when is in use.
-
2 RepliesWhy would we want minor details that make it so we have to each buy a copy of the game? Who cares if it doesn't look as good. Keep the split screen.
-
4 RepliesSign here if it doesnt make a difference to you.

Yes. I don't care about graphics.
