It's not fair, AGAIN!
I've just been reading through the taken king content and low and behold, ps players are getting MORE exclusive content for the same £39.99 that we are paying. I was almost certain we would get the extra strike, Hawkmoon etc with the latest dlc, but no. Bungie, you made your money from us xbox players and seem to not give a monkeys about our feedback from the last time this was carried out. You should change this at the cost of losing valuable fans, rant over!!............

<sigh> you're getting the EXACT SAME CONTENT FOR THE SAME PRICE as the PSN players... It's a timed exclusive. You will get it for no added charge when the the time is up... you just have to be patient.

Well, this is another worthwhile post, covering the same old shît. Sony paid money for it, the game will have been developed using that money. You owe Sony a thank you for funding a chunk of your game at the cost of a couple of items.

You have two options, first one is realize that you'll have to wait for more content and the second option is to go to your gaming store, trade in your Xbox for a ps4. That's it! It's business, man. 1. Sony paid Bungie for exclusivity. 2. Bungie has bad blood with Microsoft with the whole Halo issue. At the end of the day, a business is in it to make money.

4 RepliesIf you want the exclusives buy a ps4, I have both systems for destiny started with the xbox one then grabbed my ps4 a few months ago. Go work an extra day or two and pick one up.

Sony paid more; it's not a buy one get one deal. You say Halo/Xbox people made them; but actually it was Microsoft that bought Halo at that time; Sony didnt pay that extra $ so it was exclusively for Xbox.

I don't get it. Personally I have nothing with xbox since day one due to the controller ;I don't like it, that's personal. However i did buy a xbox360 to play forza (didn't play much however due to controller 😑) My point is,if you feel so left out then why not buy a ps4 for next to your xbone ? Now there are even devices to old your xbox controller to ps and visa versa. It's that i don't have any xbone friends and not the time anymore due to work to play as much, otherwise i would own both consoles and just use a ps4 controller on xbone

Your not allowed to play with the play station exclusives because you don't own a play station. I personally feel like if they are going to nerf the exotic weapon that made this game so popular, then they should end their own console exclusivity. Better get used to it because I read an interview the other day with the head of Xbox that pretty much confirmed they are phasing out 3rd party exclusive content. So, eventually ps will get ALL exclusive content for most other 3rd party games. Better get that box of tissues

I play Xbox and I really don't care about a few guns and strikes when we got an entire game series, works both ways.

I don't care for timed exclusives myself as I feel it spreads more animosity between the factions of Xbox and Playstation fans. These are purely business decisions and while it sucks to be locked out of content, you always have choice as a consumer to not purchase if you feel you are being taken advantage of. The best power you have over decisions like these is in your wallet. If you buy The Taken King on Xbox and still complain about timed exclusives, you are not going to see a change. If you really enjoy Destiny and you play on Xbox, you can wait patiently for the exclusivity deal to be over and enjoy the new content when it comes out for yourself, myself and countless other Xbox users. Just think of it this way, the exclusivity breaths a bit of freshness into the game if you are in anyway getting bored of Destiny. You'll have new items to strive for and new bosses to be slain! Some PS users are likely bored of this content already, you get to experience as if it was a brand new addition to the game. I feel your pain, but there is nothing we can do about it. Just roll with the punches and remember, it's just a video game!
