What is the best pulse rifle?
Let's say red death was a legendary pulse rifle. Which of these three would be best. I can't seem to get a messenger cuz the lighthouse keeps trolling me with jewels. So I'm looking for another go to pulse rifle. What are your thoughts?
Edit: Keep in mind that tlw and the messenger have the same stats so what makes one better than the other.

The difference is the messenger with perfect balance has almost not recoil and no bullet spread as opposed to three little words

1 ReplySeeing as most people use Thorn in PvP, the red death perk will save your life on numerous occasions. It cancels out the burn. Cant count how many gun battles came really close and I would have followed my victim to the grave were it not for red death.

I would like to play with a messenger eventually, to see if it measures up to my spare change. Seeing as that my spare change is 2 burst kill, I don't see the messenger being any different. I do see the viability with a void burn active. Oh and I've never been killed by the messenger.

3lw and messenger have diff base stats. I think its easier to use messenger compared to 3lw. Also messenger comes with perfect balance, extended mag and that speed reload perk. Those are very good perks to have for pvp purposes and the sights on the gun are awesome for pvp. The 3lw i have has high cali rounds, fitted stock and speed reload but it doesnt have any good, easy to use sights.

2 RepliesI'm loving The Messenger. I'm not one who usually uses Pulse Rifles but it's been one of my go-to PvP weapons since I got destroyed by someone using it in IB.

And you don't list Bad Juju or 123 Syzygy for what reason? Are you labouring under the misconception that high impact low rof pulse rifle are automatically superior?

I did pretty well in Iron Banner (rank 5) with Red Death. My only complaint is the sights are a bit weak and a Red Dot would have been better option.
