What is the best pulse rifle?
Let's say red death was a legendary pulse rifle. Which of these three would be best. I can't seem to get a messenger cuz the lighthouse keeps trolling me with jewels. So I'm looking for another go to pulse rifle. What are your thoughts?
Edit: Keep in mind that tlw and the messenger have the same stats so what makes one better than the other.

Red Death because of one thing - healing. The situation when you kill your opponent with pixel of energy left and then see your energy restore is priceless.

4 RepliesI truly don't get what people like about Red Death. The burst is so wild in comparison to other high impact versions. Yea you get more ROF and the heal, but the burst spread is huge if you're used to one of the legendary options, and Red Death gives you garbage range by comparison.

6 RepliesHopscotch Pilgrim is better than the Messenger in my opinion. Take a look at the one on my Hunter: Rodeo/Flared Magwell/Headseeeker It has slightly less reload speed and stability at base value, but a bigger magazine. With the roll I got on it, it's literally better in every way. Also, I've found the handling speed to be a bit smoother.

The messenger wrecked my whole team in Trials it was insane but RD is the main!

3 RepliesThe messenger is good because you can get two headshot kills, but the red deaths ability to restore health is gold. It helps you counter the thorns burn effect if you fend off its user.
