Skolas is easy, Its those -blam!-ing mines!
Has anyone else besides me and my teammates had a problem getting wiped by the mines after killing skolas? This happened to me and my buddies 5 or 6 times where we would kill skolas but not be able to make it across the map in time to dismantle the mines. I really hope bungie changes this because I feel like everything should end including the mines once skolas is dead. We did finally complete it, just took a horribly long time.

If you're using the sniper route, have him empty all of his rounds unto Skolas dome, and by the time he's done doing that, the mines shouldve just popped up. He should start heading to the first mine to start dismantling while the others are using the rest of their sniper ammo or starting to lay into him with a heavy machine gun(Was thunderlord for me since I had an arc LDR sniper) Best case scenario, you get the mine to spawn by you and you can all still focus fire on Skolas. Worst case scenario, you lose firepower by sending one off for the mine across the map. Hang in there. Completed it twice today. Once on my titan, another time on my hunter. Waiting on my buddy to finish leveling his defender class so I can run my warlock too :) Also forgot to mention, get one of the Queens wrath sniper rifles and roll it for arc. With weapons of light it hits for a little over 8.8k per headshot. High impact snipers are your best friend.

If there's a hunter on your team have them disable the mines only if they didn't receive the poison. Then your two other mates stay behind to finish off Skolas.

Yeah. At least next week the Skolas fight cannot get any worse than this week. Arc burn is by far the hardest/worst even no burn would be easier/quicker.

Invis. Mines done. The GODDAMN poison is what gets me. The endless amount of enemies might as well not even be there. The poison is what kills us everytime.
