I'd like to know why bungie are releasing the DLC at 6pm GMT when the reset is normally at 10 GMT. This means UK Players will lose time this week and be unable to play the DLC Till late in the evening
Brilliant reaction to this.
Thank you for the constructive posts.
For everyone that needs to insult, people can have different opinions to you. I feel sorry for you if you can't have a constructive conversation without being aggressive and rude when someone has a different opinion to you.

Im UK and tbh 6pm is fine for me as 1, i dont have to use a days holiday. 2, i get home when the dlc goes live so can do the download while eating dinner. 3, spend a few hours with the kids, bath them & read storys, talk to the mrs about her day you know the usual Then stick 5 - 6 hours in on destiny i usualy come off it arround 2am - 3am but i only play 2 - 3 nights a week

2 RepliesAt least you got it on the 19th, in oz we had to wait until the 20th, rather play witcher 3 anyway.

11 RepliesAs a UK player, I have a little bit of news for you. Contrary to popular believe Engerland isn't the centre of the universe. Bungie is an American based company that is pushing the big button when there is enough people in the office to make sure it works, and if it doesn't, to fix it. Maybe if you had a job, you would be grateful as you would be able to do a days work then go home and play it.

Payback for ban on American students at Hogwarts.

Edited by DevilDog J: 5/19/2015 3:28:24 PMYeah, but it allows you time to return from work, school, etc.
-
Of course it's bullshit. But where are all the Australian complaints? Can't even see em man. Consider yourself lucky!

It's the release date and time, it's not the end of the world if your not the first one in. The content released is meant to last until September, and try and enjoy it instead of sprinting through. For those on the other side of the world, you have the benefit of a better time for resets every week. They are only dropping this at 10am pacific so that they can have all hands on deck if something goes wrong.

Edited by Odysseus: 5/19/2015 3:27:27 PMI dare say a lot of UK based players will like the 6pm reset as they are at work till 5. But hey you know better

There's a difference between not having the same "opinion" as you, and you not using your -blam!-ing brain cells.
-
You boring -blam!-
-
Of course they did. They put in hundreds of hours just to answer one Question. How can we screw those bloody Brits? Answer: Release HoW in Pacific Time. And we screw those Aussies too, they have to wait till the 20th!
-
im screwed cause at 6pm i got to be at school for something and wont have much time when im back

1 ReplyIt all happens at once. Everyone around the world will be playing destiny at the same time. Not relative to your location, but at the same time in space Tell me that's not beautiful.
-
I think that reset time is actually better? A lot of people finish work at 5pm roughly so it means that they can get home and get setup in time for the release. They've only shafted people who work different hours or don't work and are waiting around for it to drop. I think it could have been a lot worse for UK players.

Who really cares? As fun as it is, destiny is just a game, and bungie is a 'murican company, not a "tea-land" company
also I can't play until 7pm GMT so I'm good regardless
-
1 ReplyActually it's nothing to do with Bungie, it's to do with Sony/Microsoft because they decide what time the content appears on the store. The reset time has nothing to do with the DLC
-
It's like the premieres of movies, why do UK and China gets first?
-
Keep crying. You idiots will never learn. They can't please everyone. Besides, they are located in THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
-
Christ, this shit again? Bungie is USA based, get over it.
-
Don't you work or go to school? Why you even home
-
Us UK players have to wait more now
-
Here's the thing though for those of us in California we have to wait all day till we get done with work to play. So at least you Brits get to play right away.
-
1 ReplyLmao "brilliant", gotta love Brits.
-
If the content was only going to be around for a week, I'd get the concern. But this is meant to ride out the next 4 months and 8 hours is a big deal?
-
Bungie releases the dlc when it suits their time zone the best. You just lucked out.

6 RepliesEdited by Dunnhill3rd: 5/19/2015 2:22:04 PM1. Reads thread. 2. Checks bungies comms. 3. Reads 10am pacific. 4. Closes thread whilst muttering "never go full retard". Edit: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+time+is+10am+pacific+in+UK+time# Don't get why people think it's a conspiracy. It's just that they are an American company. Read their blogs.
