So your Senior gameplay designer is leaving? Along with a waning fan base, the legacy of Bungie is in jeopardy. What is your plan of attack? Fix everything after everyone is gone? Hope people comeback? After playing other games it's hard for me to return to Destiny, the incentive has left along with my friends

32 RepliesYou realize they have about 400 staff members right? One person won't matter plus he didn't leave cause he hated bungie he left cause he wanted to go to Bethesda to make different games.

3 RepliesThe gameplay of Destiny is solid. That's not the games issue. I have confidence that their current staff will be able to pull through with HoW and the Fall 2015 major content release. They have our feedback. They know what's wrong. And their working on it. The constant updates to the game is what gives me hope :).

3 RepliesEdited by Morgana Nimueh: 4/5/2015 11:47:56 AMYour statement is nothing but speculation. There are other games out there people play more instead of Destiny at the moment because they are waiting for House of Wolves. I just wish people would stop posting speculative nonsense and quit the game if you hate it that much, leaving the people who enjoy it to do just that.

Bungie are blowing it big time..

9 RepliesMaybe since that's guys gone we'll get an even better one next..?

1 ReplyYea i don't think that house of wolves will save this game. And besides were have you've been these last few months?! A majority left because of the cut off content that the disk had too. It was bullshit of course people left not to mention that they don't respond or either damn explain why they did it. You're right, the hype train was too high but this game is a complete mess and has made bungie, my favorite game company a complete piece of trash and liars. Come with you're bullshit defense, but the replay ability ( correct me if i said that wrong " the word" ) for this game is a repetitive joke.

3 RepliesWe're testing baselines for pc. This game cant stay on console, It won't survive.

..... Every ends a new begining, and with how the community has been complaining abut this game, maybe the new person who steps up will bring whatever it is we think we need lol.

1 ReplyWho left and when?

7 RepliesI think this might be a good thing. 1) They get someone in with some fresh idea's , 2) Maybe he's been sent to Bethesda to help them develop some DLC for this game? You never know what kind of back room deals are going on in the game world.

What is your plan of attack? Fix everything after everyone is gone?
Indeed, VoG and CE will be fixed just about the time I won't care about running them anymore. I stopped caring about strikes months ago.
Along with a waning fan base, the legacy of Bungie is in jeopardy.
Agree 100% that Bungie's image is tarnished post "Destiny". Doesn't help that Bungie prioritizes fixing cheeses the players like over the glitches they don't.

1 ReplyWhat's the point of this thread? Bungie sucks, Destiny sucks! Blah blah blah, go play something else. I still have fun. And that's all that matters.

1 ReplyDestiny/Bungie is a sinking ship. Ruined by their own ego

23 RepliesThe problem is old consoles holding development back... Hard to create awesome events on systems with only 256MB VRAM and 256MB System RAM. Probably why most story content was cut out... Bad frame rates on old consoles... FFXIV had the same issues on PS3 but runs at 60FPS on PS4...

releasing HOW later doesn't make it any better

1 ReplyEdited by Unforgiven: 4/5/2015 6:42:52 AMI think the guy who left was the guy from the trailer who said. "Halo... How can anything be bigger than Halo?" Remember that. "Well.." he said. "We will find out." Can anyone post that clip for us. Was that him? LOL thats the guy that left. I was like amazed when I saw that trailer and I really wanted to buy Destiny. Josh Hamrick. He was on the team that designed the Destiny guns. He did a phenomenal job. I love the Fatebringer, Icebreaker and Hawkmoon and Gjallarhorn.

18 RepliesEdited by LONE RONIN2012: 4/3/2015 2:52:09 PMTook DICE near a year to fix BF4. Mostly by then, too little too late. From that experience I didn't even think of buying Hardline.

3 RepliesBungie has no legacy anymore, all of their initial talent is gone. Either Activision had too much say in Destiny, or Bungie has no idea how to make an RPG type game. They've missed so many obvious things that would make the game 10 times better yet don't address any of it or admit anything. I haven't played the game in months but check the weekly updates and forums to see if anything has changed, but nothing has changed. Bungie has a stick up their ass with constantly patting themselves on the back. Destiny had promise and potential and a great advertising campaign which initially made it sell well. There are a ton of other games that are worlds better than Destiny, with this game Bungie has just become another name. I'll remember you for how you were Bungie, but not as you are.

Bungie kinda died a few years back when they quit making halo there team was cut in half most wanted to stay with halo and the rest pretty much left like a quarter of bungie still remains.. The one we loved..
-
As much as I don't wanna agree I have to. That last line was kinda depressing in a sense because how TRUE that statement really is. I was just reading another thread dude said " I'll remember you bungie for who you were and not as you are".

1 ReplyBungie is a 400 man operation, they pick and choose employees that continue their ideas.
they are fine
2 RepliesAll I can think about is getting home from work to play FC 4 and Dragon Age. I enjoy coming here at work for some reason. I don't know. Maybe I enjoy hearing people complain.
