Auto rifles in iron banner
Other then the 'Suros', which I do not have sadly, I don't really see them too often?Anybody use legendary auto rifles and if so which ones? I stick with the 'For the People' and manage for the most part. Though I do get out gunned by hand cannons and pulse rifles quite often, depending on the level of of course :P. Are auto rifles not exactly ideal for iron banner?
Edit: Thanks everyone for all your opinions! If anyone wants to play some iron banner or crucible or anything really, I'm always open to playing with people. I don't care what level or guns you use or even if your good or not. Just glad to play with someone, anyone, other then myself. I have ps4 and Xbox one but I mainly play on the ps4. 1 ReplyNerfing the auto rifle is taking out fun from this game. Make it useless in PvE. That is a stupid move from bungie. They already lack of contents and stories...nerfing guns...unbelievable. They should just buff the pulse and shotguns. Nerfing Auto and Fusion just a stupid move.

I was rocking Up for Anything, Pocket Infinity, Hunger of Crota. Wasn't the greatest setup sure, but it's a ton of fun. Didn't see anyone else using the Pocket Infinity, caught many by surprise using it.

I really don't even see SUROS anymore. It's sad really, it's such a great weapon. But since the nerf, there are just SOOO many other better options to use now that out-class SUROS

I like the abyss defiant. It's got focus fire and it's legendary so I can use invective.

unless you get a leg with good stat rolls then exotic ars are the way to go (monte with send it anyone). its sad tho that my new monarchy shotgun outdoes my vanquisher in range.

4 RepliesBungie's latest across the board Auto Rifle nerf pretty much removed them from being a competitive weapon. Suros is about the only one that kinda works, but the rest are all outclassed by every weapon out there. One of the dumbest things I have seen a developer do in a long time.

Bungie confused they pretty much trades auto rifles for pulse rifles , as auto rifles are not used anymore instead of balancing the weapons they killed auto rifles idk how they keep doing these type of mistakes , what they should of done is make buff pulse rifles but keep auto rifles the way they was it would be equal

I've been using hard light and NLB for the entirety of this iron banner, and have done fine. Rarely below 1.0kd, occasionally exceed 2.0kd, and rarely hit 3.0+kd. Autos are fine.

Auto Rifles got screwed over. Even though it was only like 3 that were actually good that had range and impact. A good Legendary is from the New Monarchy, Vanquisher VIII.

I'll use my up for anything on occasion but it's only good once or twice then I gotta switch it back to a hand cannon. Usually only use it if I wanna grab a secondary or heavy exotic. Everyone right.... Autos ain't worth a damn. I have suros an gave it a shit but yeah.... No thanks

They are so weak now, I had a person fire at me from behind. I had time to turn around and sprint to him killing him with a shotgun and still had a sliver of HP.

Entered IB once this time with my wrecking gear, left with barely a positive KD because of Red Death, fist of panic spammage, camping snipers, found verdict spammage, and for fist of panic. Iron Banner wasn't like this, it was about skill.
