Just saw a video on YouTube of a guy getting 70 kills in control and he was bashed more so on not capturing zones. Personally, I didn't think it was impressive (hawkmoon, p.revenge and j. hammer) but 70 kills is no small feat. Thoughts?
Edit 1: find me on PS4 you cheerleaders. I could use some myself.
Edit 2: I guess my stats in the crucible must be decent because I've yet to be called out on them like 99% of other OPs
Edit 3: I still don't know or can comprehend how I'm bashing the guy... again, "70 kills is no small feat" but forgive me if I'm not impressed. Too many factors were in play during the match.

4 RepliesI lol at people who call me a camper on control when my team has two points captured.
-
1 ReplyMy highest was 43 if I remember.
-
2 RepliesIt is impressive. Really impressive. Personally in all the games I've played I've never seen someone even close to that amount, hell I've never even seen someone hitting half that amount in a game I think.
-
4 RepliesControl is team deathmatch. You can win holding one flag. The flags need to be more important
-
3 Repliesand he probably still lost due to bad teammates :p Never the less that's pretty impressive.
-
3 RepliesClearly the people who are mad don't understand how control works.
-
1 ReplyHe was playing against noobs.
-
1 ReplyIf you notice in those videos where people pull off huge kill counts - half their team is usually missing (allowing more kills per player to win) and the other team is either half empty or full of terribad players. Not saying that this guy didn't have skill because I'm sure he is a great player but getting a huge kill count usually means your team is empty or all AFK. Not that big of a deal IMO.

1 ReplyIf you are a smart enough/good enough player to get 70 kills you should go for it. Let others on the team get the flags. Control is still pretty much team death match and enough kills can out weigh capping points.

2 RepliesI killed a Guardian in the Crucible with Necrochasm once........once........one......
-
6 Replies70 kills is awesome but he's playing TD while everyone is playing Control.
-
4 RepliesJust watched it, really good stuff. Perfect display of heavy ammo management that people don't understand.
-
1 ReplyUsing any weapons to get 70 kills in one game is extremely impressive. What, were you expecting him to use NLB or husk of the pit to get that many kills? lol
-
2 RepliesThe other end of control is killing people for the points. So as long as someone on the team is taking capture points I say give em hell and pile up the bodies!
-
2 Repliescan u post the link to the video? Wanna watch it.
-
5 Replies70 thats nothing i had a 120 all of last week.
-
1 ReplyNice, I think my highest was 51 kills in control with over 10,000 score that game I was also using hawkmoon, p. revenge, Against all Odds
-
4 RepliesMy buddy had 46 yesterday! It was awesome.
-
People were mad they couldn't kill more than 15.
-
1 ReplyThat is -blam!-ing serious badassness right there.
-
ABSOLUTE BADASS! I am done!
-
1 ReplyHe got at least 7000 points. That's a third of a win. Who gives a crap what he captured?
-
3 RepliesEdited by PatPharm: 2/20/2015 3:52:13 PMCaptured zones don't actually score you points (other than 75 at the time of capture), they just add to points you get for kills. You can actually hold none of the zones for an entire match and win. A steamer/YouTuber named gamesager has a video showing it
-
2 RepliesThe problem is people think they are playing Call of Duty Domination...it is not! The more zones you capture equals more points per kill. so technically you could hold one zone and beat the team with two, it would take ALOT of kills, but technically possible.
-
6 RepliesPeople should realize that Control is not Domination or Conquest.
-
5 RepliesIt's impressive and u still get points for all the kills as long as u own 1 zone so he was getting his team points. Did his team at least win?
