70 kills in "control?" Seriously?
Just saw a video on YouTube of a guy getting 70 kills in control and he was bashed more so on not capturing zones. Personally, I didn't think it was impressive (hawkmoon, p.revenge and j. hammer) but 70 kills is no small feat. Thoughts?
Edit 1: find me on PS4 you cheerleaders. I could use some myself.
Edit 2: I guess my stats in the crucible must be decent because I've yet to be called out on them like 99% of other OPs
Edit 3: I still don't know or can comprehend how I'm bashing the guy... again, "70 kills is no small feat" but forgive me if I'm not impressed. Too many factors were in play during the match.

4 RepliesEdited by MOOSAPOLUZA: 2/20/2015 10:07:38 PMHe had over half the team's points. Figuring a match lasts about 15 minutes, the other team spent at least 3 and a half minutes just waiting to respawn. This is based on the average respawn time of 3 seconds

It would have only been an average game if wasnt for the copious amount of machine gunning. Still not knocking the guy. Mainly because it is something i will never accomplish. Spawn camping with a machine gun isnt exactly idol worthy though. I am actually curious how the heavy ammo didnt despawn. It never seems to stay around for me after i die. At least i never knew it could.

4 RepliesLuck?? Maybe a little very skilled with his weapons of choice, good knowledge of the map, and very good at paying attention to the radar!= a good player in destiny PvP. His skills outmatched his opponents but that isn't luck that's just dude has skills lol. Yeah he could get paired with more skilled players as opponents and not be able to get as many kills but in turn his team did not match his skill either so again luck had very little to do with it in my opinion

2 RepliesThere is always a factor of luck. As most people seem to be missing, yes he was very skilled, but by the luck of the draw in matchmaking his opponents were not, that's not a knock on his skill necessarily. If a chessmaster goes against an opponent who has never played before and destroys him in a handful of moves, that would not be considered as impressive as doing the same thing to another chessmaster, now would it? Again, not knocking his skill or blowing the whole thing off as luck, but luck *was* a factor to some degree.

1 ReplyI'd like to see a one or the complainers below even come close to that. You can tell it wasn't just all luck, dude can play. That said the opposing team was like zombie AI. Snipers who couldn't snipe, fusion rifle users who couldn't land a shot. Most of those sniper were always zoomed in showing off exactly where they were.

4 RepliesOnly way 70 kills is not impressive is if the other team was full of plants running to him to die. I don't care how good or bad the other team was 70 kills without cheating is impressive. And the whole "luck" with the heavy ammo was strategy. He grabbed his heavy and immediately ran to the other heavy spawn to try and kill them after they got theirs. He got the drop on them and took them all out. Was risky, but it paid off and set him for heavy for most of the match.
