The issue of Crucible; Vex Mythoclast
We all know this is an issue. It isn't news to anyone, but it does need to be talked about and talked about until something is drastically done to amend the issue; Vex Mythoclast.
Any rumble match I've played in, the Vex user will be at least top 2. without question. Tonight, I've been playing in clash and control matches again at least 2 players with Vex; in those games I was only ever killed by Vex players (that isn't an exaggeration, there were whole games where I was only killed by the players using the Vex).
When I hear that gun, I know I'm in for a bad game. When I've killed by only that gun, all the enjoyment of this game is sucked out of me. Right now I'm trying to get bounties done with a friend and hopefully having fun with the game at the same time, but I have yet to have a game without playing against a Vex user and quite frankly I'm sick of it.
I'm trying to have fun with this game, and it was fun for a while, but above all else in the Crucible the biggest problem right now is the Vex Mythoclast.
I have no respect, care or time for the people using it, but I can't blame them either. It stems from the design of the gun.
This needs amending, the issue has been an issue for as long as the gun has existed. So why is this issue still not being addressed? Why are we, players of the Crucible, accepting this bull? I know there are glitches and stuff in raids, but this is actually making the Crucible near unplayable in some situations.

Me and my brother have been dominating doubles this week and I realized why it's OP. Because it beats out close quarters shotgun rushers. It has been so fun using scout rifles on on people that think the vmc is special. More than half the players in the game run close quarters fights. Going in the open and preying on these guys has been filling me with joy.

Honestly... I should be allowed to use whatever gun I want. I don't need people who complain about it just because it's a good pvp gun! That is what I'm getting sick of.

It's not op, just don't run straight toward someone who uses it :) I have the vex and it's not as easy to kill others as people think, I still need head shots to be able to kill you quick. No head shots = no kill(or very little damage)so the people you find yourself against probably just better at aiming than you lol Git gud

It has been addressed, its not op. I've been wanting to say this for a while but I wasn't sure I could pull it off. Anyway, here goes: Git gud scrub. Did it work? Did I do it right?

3 RepliesI avoid the "crucible".. It's terrible. I've loved online shooters since socom on PS2.. I get that this isn't a typical shooter.. But even so I despise the PvP portion of Destiny.. 95% of the community uses the exact same load out. There's no variety. Its dull and unbearable. Let the kids play their PvP with shotguns.. There's more fun to be had elsewhere.

If you don't remember how bad it was when the gun first hit crucible. STFU. This is nothing compared to how bad the vex melted people before.

I have a vex and it's really not that OP in the crucible.. If you think that one weapon is a problem how could you not complain about all the shot gunners. How many times have you been killed by people sprinting around with a shot gun.. Come on dude get a grip its competitive multiplayer. People grind week in and week out to get better equipment to increase there cruicible chances..

Well with respect mate, yes the vex is seriously op however it also depends on the user's ability and skill. For example: I was using a rare auto rifle and I outgunned a vex user.... Even after he hit me first! I understand what you are saying but it's not just the gun, it's also the players...

It's not a big deal, niche weapon and it has it uses. You should be able to out play them with just about any primary since they nerfed it.

It's already been nerfed bud. And plus, it's meant to be op. And on top of that I can counter it with nearly anything. It's really not that hard bud. Gosh, kinder guardians these days.

I play quite a bit of pvp and I can honestly say the vex isn't a big deal in my opinion.

I've just figured out what weapon you can easily 100% combat the VOG exotic primary (vex) with.. [spoiler]the CROTA exotic primary, most OP PVP weapon in the game[/spoiler]

I only been playing crucible regularly this week. My first day, I died to vex so many times. From the second day, I didn't. Just adjust, if you know a match is full of vexes then don't run around the map like a spastic rhino. I suck at crucible, suck hard, if you don't believe me check my stats. If I can adjust to it you can.
