LOZ Ocarina of Time, PC emulator?

After reading one of the threads in here, I became interested in playing Ocarina of Time. I remember playing it a little bit when I was younger at friends' houses and being completely amazed by it, but I never really played through the whole thing on my own. So I'm wondering if any of you have any experience or knowledge of how to play an N64 game like OoT on a PC? I hear of emulators and such, but I'm not really sure what they are or how they work. I have a pretty good PC that plays current games on medium to high settings, and I have plenty of hard drive space, so I think it should just be a matter of logistics as far as being able to play. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help or has any info.

  • Download a Nintendo 64 emulator called Project 64, preferably version 1.6 Then type in Ocarina of Time Rom on Google and download that. Make a "roms" folder on your desktop and put oot in there. Install project 64 and make your default rom directory the folder you made. That's pretty much it.

    • Emulators and Roms are getting hard to come by. You must be young, please play ocarina of time :) When I was younger my mom sold My n64 and gold copy of OoT without telling me and I will never forgive her

      • I haven't used an emulator in a long time, but I believe Project N64 is a solid and reliable emulator. You download the emulator from the website, and whatever N64 game you want. Boot up the emulator, and load the game, and you're playing OoT! The games are very small too, so don't worry about space.
