Tribute to Chris Kyle - sniper rifle
"The legend" exotic sniper rifle
For those of you unaware. Chris Kyle is the deadliest sniper in US history and had a major movie made about his story "American Sniper".
I am proposing Bungie make a sniper rifle named "The Legend" which was Kyle's nickname during the war.
Perks shall include:
Luck in the chamber (if you read the books he admits luck was on his side)
Increased range and accuracy (has the longest confirmed kill ever recorded)
And the exotic perk: The Legend
Each non-precision hit grants a bonus round, directly to the magazine.
Before you complain about the exotic perk not rewarding accuracy know this - Kyle writes often about always aiming for center mass because it increases your chances for a killing shot. He did not aim for head shots.
Edit 1: lots of stuff being thrown out there. Read the book. The movie blows in my opinion. It is a propaganda film. The book is not propaganda.
Edit 2: For all you war haters out there. Look at the gas prices these days. Not complaining about those are you?
Edit 3: So it is okay for bungie to make a tribute to the Russian sniper with no land beyond, but not an American sniper. That is very contradictory and is just as un-American as giving PSN exclusives.
Edit 4: everyone is so against killing and violence yada yada. Yet you get on video games and kill people all day. Complaining about promoting violence, then playing games that are all violence... is quite hypocritical.
Edit 5: apparently there are about 7 different snipers from different counties who hold the longest shot record. I'm sure that everyone is 100% correct... obviously.
It also seems that there is unanimous support for this weapon. Bungie make it happen!

Glad you are very patriotic. I love America too. Just like Chris Kyle But let's not force the world to celebrate our sniper. You want to honor him, donate time and money to veteran services, as Chris did. That's a personal way to pay homage to him. There is no way this should happen, nor will it. There's no room for propaganda in a game that is intended for a global audience.

11 RepliesChris Kyle is ass...you all are forgetting the other navy seal who went into open fire to get a good radio connection (while being over runned) to communicate back to base for pick up for him and his team. He died shortly after. Risking his life for his fellow navy seals. But we Americans remember the guy who got a number of sniper kills. Stupid Americans guiding even more stupid Americans.

He was just another used patsy in our government and he was murdered in another staged event. They had to get rid of him. It became public knowledge that his private security team was at the Boston Bombing. They use the Punisher Logo. How is that relevant you ask? Start doing some research!

1 Reply1. Yes, a British sniper has the longest shot on record ever with that being over 2 miles. They've even done shows to show the shot. 2. Saudi Arabia (the largest producer of oil) is pushing gas prices down. This is not an effect of war. They started by dropping theirs $10/barrel cheaper than ours. When we would drop it due to effect, they would drop it some more to keep it cheaper than ours. Why would we buy from ourselves when we can buy it from joe blow over there selling it cheaper. 3. I wouldn't be bragging about gas prices being down. This will bankrupt the economy. Oil companies are already laying off and stacking rigs. This will make our price to make drill go up due to not drilling as much. When SA decides to spike oil prices back to where they were, they will be in control and the price of gas will be far greater than what it was in the past. You should be more afraid of oil prices being cheap, because oil has a factor in everything you touch. 4. Even though I am a supporter of this idea, some of your facts are not true. Along with others as well though. Growing up around his hometown, and him being shot not far away. Everyone in this community knew of Chris Kyle way before any movie was made. He was an American Hero and an awesome person. The only part I find funny is how you say the movie was a propaganda, when his wife said they got every little detail right about him (even down to the nose sniffle while looking down the scope in one of the opening scenes). I'm pretty sure she knows way more about him than some guy with a keyboard. Have a good one.

If you read anything other than the sheer propaganda you've clearly been indoctrinated with. You would know american oil consumption is 100% a domestic product, drilled, refined, and sold in America. The moment we began drilling and refining to capacity, we completely undercut the world market. Oh, chris kyle was also a lying piece of shit...

I would rather see something paying tribute to all the non famous soldiers suffering from PTSD in this country. Considering Chris Kyle died at the hands of one who wasn't getting the help he needed. Kyle has gotten more than enough attention

Chief Kyle's longest shot was around 2200 meters. That was the shot to kill Mustafah in Iraq. It was an amazing shot but not the record longest sniper shot ever made. I would also like to see an exotic sniper rifle named after him.
