So because some people either refuse to buy the dlc or don't have the money like myself they are stuck without anything to do this week ? Not being able to do the weekly completely screws me and all other people that haven't got the dlc. If I've payed my £60 then why should I be restricted to taking part in activites ? Am I just being moody or nah?

4 RepliesI got the dcl, are you actually losing content for not buying?
-
I feel sorry...somehow...nah, maybe not!
-
11 RepliesIts $20 you can't be so broke you cant afford it. If that's the case I'd suggest taking a break from gaming and put that effort into getting a job.

Edited by A PENGUIN489: 12/10/2014 1:09:00 PMAs I see your frustration, I don't feel anyone is denied content. This week yes your loosing a out on the nightfall but next week the level 30 nightfall will be available as long as you grind to proper level with new gear. I understand everyone is upset but you had to realize that with the RNG in this game there would be weeks that this strike comes into rrotation

2 RepliesHow the hell do you primates pay for your F'ing power that runs your console that is no doubt working more than you? If 20 bucks is a stretch then you are in deep sh1t and should not be playing video games......

What blows me away is of all the complaints I have read over the past several weeks, this one actually has merit. Yet some of the very same who have likely complained are telling him to stop. Just amazes me.
-
6 RepliesActually I can't play weekly or nightfall strikes either because I need to finish the Eris missions and the mission I'm currently at needs me to buy something from xur.
-
This is compliantly unfair I have dlc but I really really feel bad for you guys you aren't wrong bungie hasn't even said anything about this yet
-
Nah I agree with you man. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that original on disc tasks are now locked out unless you hand over more cash. I got the DLC but it's been handled really poorly by bungie. It is not right what they have done. Yes the content is not there but a very important and critical aspect of the game is now no longer available to all. Not cool.

I'm pretty sure that if you paid for the DLC, and the DLC wasn't part of this weeks nightfall and weekly, you would still be ranting. There's no way to win with you people.

23 RepliesEdited by Herakles1493: 12/10/2014 10:08:07 AMI understand the need to please both parties but it seems pretty stupid. Is it so difficult to offer two Nightfall and Weekly strikes, ones for DLC owners and ones for those who don't........ The anger isn't coming from being excluded from the DLC at all, it was a conscious choice on my behalf NOT to buy it. But it doesn't give Bungie the right to restrict me from future strikes when I've been playing them with no problems for months now.
-
3 RepliesI don't get it. In the hours that people are stressing out and posting page long rants they could've gone and mowed someone's lawn or walked someone's dog and made the 20 bucks they'd need.
but then they wouldn't have anything to whine about
You're acting like you're being forced not to play destiny. There's still plenty to do even without weeklies. Level up your characters for raid or something, damn. This is just a bonus for people who invested in destiny and bought the dlc. It's only a week, so get over it. How do you think other xbox players feel for having to pay THE SAME EXACT PRICE FOR A GAME BUT HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL FALL TO GET THE OTHER EXCLUSIVES!?
-
Is this the only game you own? Are the Weekly and Nightfall the ONLY mode in this game? NO. Stop complaining.
-
Well u didn't pay for the new content so why should u get to play it? That's how it is in all walks of life bud. Better get used to it.
-
No it a dlc strike that's only available with the dlc if you want to play it you pay for it why should you get it fee when others have paid
-
You should just trade your game in. You're unhappy and there's no reason a video game should make you unhappy.
-
Do the raid you sausage, the nightfall and weekly is about an hour of gameplay out of your week of gaming
-
The tears are a river with this one. Yes, you're moody. It is ONE week of your life without the nightfall and weekly. Ermagerd end of ze world, fire ze missiles. It comes back next tuesday. Either run the VoG until then or go play something else. But coming to the forums and crying about the absence of a nightfall? Sorry sir but you are weenie hut jr.
-
You're being a whiney entitled child. When you bought this game you knew it was an"evolving" title. Don't play dumb now. Either pony up or piss off. A million threads bitching about the same moot point.
-
If by nothing to do, you mean no nightfall and weekly, then yes. You still have; Dailys Strikes Vog Story missions Patrol Crucible Not what I would call a 'ban' They were not going to give you the new strike. And if pre dlc got an Easier strike than the dlc people, the dlc people would complain! (Particularly the solo players) Also I would imagine it would be tricky to offer two alternatives as a one off. What if you did the pre dlc nightfall then brought the dlc? Bungie were not going to waste a large amount of time implementing an alternative to people who didn't buy the dlc. By doing this many have brought it. How clever of them. Now play your game.
-
No, it's not a weekly ban.
-
You can still rank up vanguard for new armor.
-
1 ReplyYeah they are wrong for making features you paid for unavailable because of the way everything is recycled and shared.
-
I got the dlc and I think this is -blam!- l trucked up
-
2 RepliesYeah. Maybe a choice between two nightfalls is in order?
