So it's basically a weekly ban ?
So because some people either refuse to buy the dlc or don't have the money like myself they are stuck without anything to do this week ? Not being able to do the weekly completely screws me and all other people that haven't got the dlc. If I've payed my £60 then why should I be restricted to taking part in activites ? Am I just being moody or nah?

I bought the DLC and I enjoy it but I'm in agreement with you. You bought the original game and basically you now have a part of that original game taken away from you because you haven't paid for the DLC. Maybe this is too difficult for Bungie to implement, I don't know, but I can't see why you can't have separate Nightfall, Weekly & Dailys. So basically, if you have the DLC, you can only play the DLC Nightfall, Weekly and Daily and same for non DLC players.

Everyone needs to calm down its only for this week anyway due the the strike being a dlc strike. Once only about 6 weeks non dlc owners will not be able to play the nightfall.

I don't understand why people are mad about this. If u don't buy the content then obviously u can't play it. Yes once in a while it will land on the new strike. Either buy it or don't but don't bitch about not having access to something u didn't buy. Very simple.

[i]"Am I just being moody" [/i] Yes and no - You are being whiny. You (personally) look like you have clocked over 6 days full game time; that is 120(+) hours of play, for £40. Tell me where you can find any entertainment outside of gaming that you can be entertained for 3 hours for £1 (!!!). I call that a bloody good return on investment! The DLC just came out; millions have bought it - Millions are continuing to contribute to the commercial success of the company, and so they get first shot at new content and they get to try out their new purchases. If you don't want to get left behind, then buy the DLC. Bungie are rewarding those customers that have made additional commitment to them by buying the new product - It's basic commerce; reward your most loyal customers. If your life is really going to be ruined by not having a Nightfall and Weekly Heroic to do this week, then either buy the DLC to get in there, or have a long hard look at your life to examine why the Weekly activities are the only thing keeping you going lol ;)

Do you get a special prize at the end of the week for only playing nightfall and the weekly? I have the expansion and haven't even done the nightfall yet. Just chill out and play what you can. You still get new armor, weapons and hive knights on Earth and the Moon. Go forth and play anything else, there's plenty to do. Or save up some money and stop bitching.

Pretty much. If you don't buy the DLC or the future DLC's - there will be more in the rotation that you won't have access to. Maybe I am completely wrong about this but I have the expansion or season pass and haven't been following this part of it much.

You did your part in the creation and funding of The Dark Below dlc along with everyone in the Destiny community when you bought the game and invested time in playing it while posting in the forums. Upset or not, you're showing concern for the game while being a player of the game. As far as Bungie/Activision are concerned, you're their best friend, dude. Lol Besides, you can/could've saved a decent chunk of change overall by biting the bullet and buying the season pass package rather than buying six separately. And the bottom line: if you can afford an Internet connection, electricity, a nice enough TV to play on, a place in which to use these resources, a computer or phone in which to post to and access the Destiny forums, a console to play on, and the game itself, then you certainly have little to complain about with the dlc's price tag...You can't be that broke if you're doing all that... You have a right to complain and voice your own opinion, but I'm 1,000,000% undeniably correct.
