29 RepliesYou are saying as of the DEC 1 patch it's too OP? I assume then that you are referring to buff that raised it to 323? Allow me to explain to you how PVP works my friend. The only Stat that affects damage in PVP is impact. The attack number means nothing. This is why a level 4 can come into to crucible and wreck with their low level weapons. Because of impact. When they buffed Vex, the buff only affected PVE, this was because when they nerfed to make it fair in PVP because everybody was whining because they didn't feel special, they also made it shit for PVE, hence the raised attack power. Attack power only means anything in PVE, and to a lesser extent IB, but even then it doesn't mean shit, because you still get destroyed by those crap blue guns. I will agree the Vex is powerful in PVP, but so is Suros, so is the crap Blue Shingen E, so is thorn, so are a ton of other weapons. And Vex isn't doing anymore damage in PVP since the nerf.

2 RepliesAs someone who has a Vex I assure you the gun really isn't that OP. Just don't run around the map looking for close quarter encounters, medium to long range most guns can beat it in a firefight.

1 ReplyPlease don't be that guy... Vex is only the best option in pvp if u don't have suros, thorn, or the last word. There are much worse guns out there then the vex. Also it already got nerfed and when it did the gun became utterly useless. Then they buffed it but it was never as useful or op as it was pre transformation. I suggest u look up the pre nerf gameplay and nerf gameplay just to see how not op and balanced the weapon actually is.

8 RepliesThorn, Hawkmoon, Suros, and Pocket Infinity can all match Surros at mid range. Shotguns at close range. Snipers and scouts at long range. A lot of guns are powerful if you know how to use them. Nothing is really all that over powered, all of these I named can be countered. Once you have all these guns and try them out, you will realize that none of them are much of an advantage over the other, they all have to be learned and your playstyle has to adapt to the gun. I recently tried Thorn because I have been getting wrecked by that gun. Maxed it out and went in IB. Quickly realized it wasn't as easy as they make it look. Skilled players will always find a way to counter good guns.
