screw iron banner!!! give us a PVEevent
You are always trying to push PVP how about some pushes for PVE. cause right now all exotic weapons mainly go through some sort of PVP. Not every single player like PVP, and not all players like to raid, so why make it that you have to do either or to get the best shit. We need down the middle equal ness.
For those who won't read other replies I have been doing as people bitch and complain. I do both PVP and PVE including raiding. Raids are NOT AN event it is content.
This is for those who won't say anything. To have PVP and PVE separated. Events for PVP and PVE should run at the same time. Bounties should never cross with PVP an PVE. Gear should be earned. Queens wrath was before the first iron banner and what do you know it's back first.

Create a Gladiatorial Arena that a guardian could solo or up to 3 man Fireteam can tackle. You can choose your level of difficulty, like the strikes. If you or your entire team dies, game over, no prizes. If you win, you get your ammo filled and you go to the next, progressively harder level, until you wipe (think Tetris). There will be ammo drops during the battles, but no synth. The level enemies are randomized, but level appropriate. The terrain is simplified but varies like a Roman Arena. Each level could have different random completion objectives and bonus objectives. Objectives could be Kill 'me All, Capture a Hill, don't get hit,etc. Prizes drop after every battle is won, but also get progressively better as the battles get harder. Prizes and levels should be varied based on if you go in solo or Fireteam. There should also be a full set Gladiator Armor and Weapons to be won. Plus the addition of Gladiator Vendors called "The Sanctum".

Ill get my PvP fix from other games because destiny isnt going to deliver it for me. All the weekly updates seem to be them trying to sell everyone on the crucible. I dont think Bungies knows how to handle that everyone pretty much thinks their new PvP is mediocre.

1 ReplyPeople please understand I am not trying to be little either portion of this game. I would love to see more events then just a straight PVP (iron banner) or a split PVP PVE (queens wrath). They should have them either both or run two at the same time. But change some up give us more.

Thank you please give us some more PvE Events besides the queens wrath maybe something that happens once a week or once a month were the daily give you better stuff like a legendary or strange coins. because not all people can do raids or PvP matches because they don't have gold or PS Plus. Come on bungie (DeeJ) give us something related to PvE more often besides the queens wrath. And make so they give better loot like legendary or some strange coins or gear. PLEASSSSEEEEE BUNGIE PLEEAASSSEEE!!!!!!

11 RepliesIt's pure garbage isn't it. I want to make one thing clear, I have nothing against PvP, it's just not my play style in Destiny & I am glad that PvPers now have a way towards level thirty, hopefully without having to run that accursed raid over and over. I did not buy Destiny to PvP, like thousands of others the pre-launch hype mugged me into believing in this 'new open world'...hmmm okay lol. If I want the Hand Cannon Thorn I have to PvP, which means I have to go and ruin someone else's game, I'm not interested, it means I'm going to be a weak link for my team & let people down...something that I do NOT want to do. And this goes for a host of other weapons too. Luckily I only had to complete the Vault of Glass seven times to get all my armor...but lets be clear, on five of those runs I got nothing other than chatter white & the same god dam scout rifle five times. I'm even too jaded now to upgrade that armor and actually hit level thirty, even the joy of playing with my clan can no longer keep me interested (and that's ALL that's kept me going this long). Bungie, you need to sort out this train wreck of a game, and actually decide what it is. Get some pve content into it and stop trying to make everyone a PvPer or a Raider...and if you are NOT going to do it, at least have the grace of telling us that.

There is content you are not experiencing based on personal bias. Iron banner is meant to help people get to 30 in order to make the dlc raid easier. Why not just do everything? Makes absolutely no sense not to play the whole game. I love both aspects of the game and that is why I probably have a ton more exotics than most people. Finally got my gauntlets to bring my Hunter to level 30 in the Raid last night but I still want the iron banner ones as well.

I've always thought a random level generator, along the line of say, Diablo. Where it could be full of random level opponents and maybe a couple of chests to find. Which are protected by very stubborn protectors. You'd never know how easy/difficult it was until you got in there. That's my idea of something to keep it fresh.
