I played 3678 Halo 4 matches and ever game that came out during the time I played never had an impact, and this includes CoD.

10 RepliesI'm not a cod fanboy, I play battlefield. Just pointing that out before some ignorant bastard tries to tell me otherwise. Advanced Warfare blew Destony out of the water.. The movements are more smooth. The game isn't very repetitive. It's honestly different than other CoDs for me. So the people that are like "oh CoD fanboy" You don't know what they are but they have their opinions. Plain and Simple.

1 ReplyAt least in AW you unlock guns as you level up. What rewards do you get for Destiny pvp? Usually nothing or a gun thats worth nothing.

I have COD and Destiny now. Spent all last night doing weekly challenges and normal raid. Tonight it's more COD campaign and multi. Each are both very fun. CODs pvp is overwhelmingly better than destiny (duh), but destiny has more options to extend replay value

CoD is better as a first person competitive shooter(although I die a lot less and have more reaction time in Destiny) The majority of players didn't buy Destiny for oboe though. We bought it to fight the darkness and kill alien scum while looking bad ass while doing so. Sure Destiny is repetitive a for now, but so is CoD. CoD has also had 8 years to work on it's multiplayer while Destiny is trying something new. So I'll continue to play both while waiting for Destiny to get better

Eh. Less than half my online friends at a given time are NOT on Destiny, and only about 3/4 of those not on destiny are using AW at a given time. And of the ones on AW, they still pop into Destiny for dailies/weeklies/raids and they've had the game since Monday. In the past, MOST of my friends list is always on the new COD or Halo during the first days of release... nonstop. If anything, I'd say Destiny is holding its own and then some.

I had on average 200 or so friends on destiny, It has down spiraled to 34 friends last night. There is many factors that lead to this, and MANY more will leave if they down fix gaming issues. Can't stand a buggy game.
