Now you have nothing to say. Bungie has confirmed EVERYTHING against how you lazy ass "farmers" were trying to defend the cave's ENDLESS spawning.
So people understand what happened and how cave exploiters were defending it got totally rekt:

P.S.S. So you understand even further, FARMING is not bad, obviously exploiting an endless spawn point with ZERO effort is according to Bungie. You want to go farm? Go ahead just don't exploit for get rich quick/easy schemes.

1 Replyso we all move to the next farming ground lol there are more places, in strike or in story mode where you can farm, die, farm, etc etc wondering if Bungie will put a restriction on how many times (in a short period) you may die.

2 RepliesSo this is better than the cave You can farm on the first moon mission (level 20 mode is best): the dark beyond. Go to the cutscene where you find the dead guardian and then all those thralls, a couple acolytes, and a yellow-class knight, kill everything except the knight and then let it kill you. After that you will respawn and then you can do it all again! Perks of this include: -short amount of time compared to strikes and the raid (up to 30 engrams an hour) -lots of loot to disassemble for parts -occasional exotics (got about 5 in a week) -high glimmer boost -best place for overcharge and hive killing bounties -STRANGE COINS! Using this method I got hawkmoon the last word, and many other good loots so enjoy!

4 Repliesyou forgot to include this from the Dev Notes: Destiny: The Cave The social experience of a cave farming run is amazing: the herding to get a team of Guardians all behind the line and firing in the right direction, the rush to grab the loot, the scramble when the panic wave starts, the beckoning glow from inside the cave. The speed at which the community organized around this activity was inspiring and humbling to us. So Bungie didn't find anything wrong with the cave farming. They were getting sick and tired of idiots like you complaining about something so trivial. Also the dam was about to break from the tears being shed by people like the OP, so Bungie had to do something to relieve the stress.

2 RepliesWhile I agree completely with the sentiments which clearly motivated your post, I cannot pass by without taking a moment to address your tone. Adopting (or, at a minimum, appearing to adopt) a combative, "holier-than-thou" attitude, will not engender polite, well-reasoned responses. Make your argument without animosity, and I think you will be answered in kind. As to your observations with respect to the "loot cave", it is not for me to decide what someone else finds enjoyable. A measure of persistence and, as Bungie themselves remarked, social organization, is required to fully realize the opportunity embodied in the "cave of wonders". Who is to say whether or not those skills could be put to better use in Nightfalls, or Raids? I hope they will be employed in such a manner. I think both sides of this argument are incredibly lame, who cares. I don't farm, but couldn't care less about people who do. while they are wasting their time at a stupid cave for crap engrams that give fuuck all, I'm honing my raid and crucible skills. See me in the crucible with after Uve been farming for days str8 I bet you still get wrecked, even if u got any good gear. I know guys who farm, and none of them are ranked as high as me!

that doesn't prove its an exploit, they even commended people for being organized and gathering together, not really something a company would say when fixing an exploit. no they just said that that wasnt how they intended people to play the game so they have temporarily changed the spawn times. I was a cave farmer, i couldnt care less, i went there on my lower level characters cause i could get up 3-4 lvls at the start that character without firing a single shot thanks to exp gains. i went there on my level 27 warlock all the time and i got exotics out of it, great for me, yay big deal, rather then change the spawn times the should have changed how the loot is dropped. I propose a rank/tier based drop system as follows: common/uncommon – standard mobs uncommon/rare – Yellow Health mobs (let’s call them this) rare/legendary/exotic – world/strike/raid bosses gets people away from the caves and into strikes while keeping the farm open for low level people to be able to grind levels

5 RepliesThey never called it an exploit and if all of you would get you heads out of your asses you would have seen both sides of the argument are a waste of time. Farming the cave is because even if you get a legendary engram odds are it won't be a legendary item and farming under 20 is a waste anyway. Being offended by said farming is a waste of time because you're concentrated on what somebody else is doing as opposed to enjoying your own gaming experience. Real reason it got fixed is as follows. Bungie employee: let me just check the forums to see if there are any gliches reported by the community. Forums: waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Loot cave Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Bungie: fine we'll deal with it if you just shut up about it

I still don't think they should have fixed it, it's what has kept me playing this game. I wouldn't have a lot of my stuff if it weren't for the cave. I'd be less interested if I couldn't get my light level up.
