are there any adults on here??
Just wondering is there anyone in this community left that isn't a 12 year old, or have the crazy fanboys run them all out? Can't find any posts or topics that haven't just descended into people fighting about who's plastic box is better than who's and who's betrayed who (I actually saw one guy compare it to genocide!! Seriously!?!) Anyway just wondering if there are any normal people left who will be playing Destiny or am I just going to be left running around solo trying to avoid all the idiots?

2 RepliesAge means little really. Just depends on how mature the person is. A 14 year old can sometimes be more nature then some 20 year olds. Just depends on the person. Not their age most of the time.

33 here, and my 29 year old brother will be playing too. A few of my World of Warcraft guildies will be playing it too, and they're all 20 to 50 years old. :) I'm gonna do whatever I can to always play with adults.

When I look on most of the forums they're composed of people who have just joined in the recent year or so. The added traffic is fine, but where did all the pre-Halo 3 (circa 2008) Bungie.net users go. I see some every once in a while, but for the most part it seems that a whole new group has taken the reigns of the Bungie train. I'm just wondering where the true oldies of the site have gone. Side note, I can't wait to play Destiny on Xbox One.

I'm with all of you, 35 and still playing video games. I definitely get frustrated with the young mentality of kids online but it is their platform and you either roll with it or opt out. I just love the mute button when it needs be. However, I'm always looking for cool people to rally with online, especially for Destiny. If you wanna band together toss me a PSN / XB1 add, I'm monthofmacabre on both systems.

First console was a Magnavox 200 - old gallp will give a cookie to the person who can post the year of this consoles release and guesses old gallps age. Notwithstanding, gallp remains a staunch gamer playing FPS daily. Looking forward to strapping on that Titan armour. This gamer has established three groups. "The 150 Proud" is for mature xb1 gamers who enjoy fun, intelligent banter, and are happy to roll up and join a fire team as time allows. Age is no barrier - maturity is an attitude not an age. 6 RepliesI agree the condescending attitude of the fanboys/fangirls on this forum community is outrageous. I mean many of us come on here daily to get the new scoop of juicy information on a game we have been eagerly awaiting for what feels like centuries, however it is ruined by the typical aggressive attitude of the younger generations. If I make a comment or thread in the hope of teaching a not yet knowledgeable fan I want it to get there without some pathetic delinquent disturbing me. Oh and did I mention I'm 14 and just made my reply up oh yeah and I think your threads pathetic, which must be a thorn in your side mustn't it. Don't judge the younger generations on a select few whom you deem silly look at the full scope of the generation. Thank you A 14 year old.

I will most times be doing it solo, that way I don't hear the idiots! Maybe I might come across some good people which would be great to play with. I have never understood all the crap that goes on this forum! But I know in my heart there are good players just hard to find. I work 12hrs a day so my time is limited. I hope to find some good time with this game. I'm so happy to see so many people that are on this forum that are close to my age . I told my great wife who loves to watch me play that there are other big kids out there that play also. She said God help us all. I hope that I meet some of the more mature crowd online. At 46 I having been playing games since year dot, am still not great online but am an enthusiastic amateur who really enjoys playing. This game looks so good, on all formats, just sad I missed the Alpha due to being on holiday at the time.
