Which is worse to find on your bed at 1 A.M.? Having just dealt with both, I can say that the Wolf Spider was much worse because it managed to touch my arm before I finally noticed it.

Centipedes are venomous...

Probably whichever is the most dangerous. And by that I mean the most poisonous. Because I'd rather not have to go to a hospital ever.

6 RepliesEdited by TechnoKat: 4/27/2014 5:19:52 AMIntroducing the Amblypygi, a little known, mainly harmless Arachnid. It's basically your worst nightmare if you're afraid of spiders. Why? Because it looks like a spider, acts like a spider, and has a grizzly set of spined front legs designed to make sure that if it grabs something, there's no escape. Edit: Better resolution image.

Definitely a camel spider if one of those was on my bed I would literally burn my house down and bury the remains underground no freakin way, the worst part that happens is if it bites you you can literally get eggs growing inside your body from one bite of theirs. If you don't believe me google it I didn't want to put a picture up because how nasty it is.

Living in AZ, wolf spiders are just little pests, hornets however...

3 RepliesCentipede. Depending on the species a single bite can kill a man. Wolf Spiders, not so much. Besides. Imagine all the head-rearing, leg-coiling, crawling-across-your-entire-thigh-in-one-move-cause-it's-that-hellishly-long moments to be had with a 'pede.

12 RepliesCentipedes have more legs and segments. I've brushed or picked spiders up off myself before. You know what a centipede does? You pick up one end, and it either speeds up, or hangs on. The worst thing about removing anything that has a long body structure is that it always, always hangs on.
