We had custom modifiers before the portal..
I joined d2 long after "Five of Swords" were removed, so i can't speak to experience using these. Though, i am now convinced the portal was %100 intended to sunset the director.

12 RepliesIt was inspired by the Swordz card yes. Was it meant to replace the director? Maybe... but that's not what I wanted. I wanted the Portal... to be a complimentary and supplemental system.
