Gaurdian Rank 7 Seasonal Weapon Kills
In order to complete the Rank 7 objectives, you have to get 50 kills with Icebreaker as one of the objectives.
Usually it's the seasonal weapon (so it should be Alethonym) but for some reason it seems to be the dungeon exotic this time around. I've also tested it and Alethonym doesn't count towards it at all, so it's definitely not a Name bug.
If it's intentionally it means that a lot of people are going to be stuck on this Rank for most of rhe episode (Ice breaker is an RNG drop)
Would love to hear from bungie if its intentional or if its just a bug.

Sounds like an intentional bug 🤣 But seriously, if you're that interested, maybe wait until some streamer produces a "how to" vid and cheese it? I dunno Guardian, after the last 48 hrs the feeling inside me is to avoid as much seasonal content as possible. Play your way Guardian!

Did they say it’s an rng drop or is that just an assumption? I haven’t paid attention to anything destiny really so maybe missed it. I figured since they added it to the season rank that it may be a quest exotic but I have no idea. I better get used to my new rank if it is rng based 😂

Ranks are personal. Your last highest rank is what the player base sees. If last “episode” you were rank 11… other players see you as rank 11 currently. The “personal” rank is scheduled. If you are obsessing over this fact that has zero effect gameplay wise…. Then your concern is purely off of what other players see… of which they see you as the last rank you reached before the new episode.
