It’s been a long road, and I’m still not that good. Trials had been and up and down hill , but the competitive, iron banner, mayhem and a few others I have been having a blast playing. The guy that told me to just keep playing till you get better was not wrong. These ppl that say PvP is garbage, I think they say that because they don’t always win every match. My advice to anyone when it comes to PvP is, play more PVP than you do PVE, keep up with the PvP weapons and you’re going to lose something.

3 RepliesYeah pvp this season is actually pretty decent. Still a lot to be improved on and there’s still so much cringe that needs to be addressed but it’s a lot better than the last 2+ years of PK smg. (Even though it’s still broken but people don’t realize it yet.)

Yeah u have to keep playing …. Make the sacrifice…. I’m by no means great but I work at one thing at a time and build on it

It’s not garbage, it just needs a little tlc rn. The issue is that Notswap is a modifier in the normal playlist, and the matchmaking has been a bit wacky since TFD launched. That said, I think that it still beats shooting at AI for hours on end most of the time.

It is still cheese and bad matchmaking.

1 ReplyNah. There’s way better PVP, and they’re older than this dog -blam!-

15 RepliesOh, losing or winning matches is not why I think PvP is garbage at all. I genuinely don't even value wins/losses at all when I judge wether or not I had a fun time, that just doesn't weigh in. I wouldn't use the word "garbage" because that seems hyperbolic, but it has definitely seen much better days, and the direction they are headed going by their choices isn't a very interesting path. Obviously what is fun is a subjective thing, and I'm not arrogant enough to demand a game caters to my specific brand of fun. I'm glad someone is enjoying it, even if I can not figure out why they would.
