And I still have no idea what the heck I want to do 😂😂😂. I’m interested in the idea of Sound Engineering/producing, but have no experience in that area, haven’t even dabbled. Currently working part time at an oil change place, not sure wether to pursue post-secondary, or to just work more and start making and saving money for my future, like a car and a mortgage

1 ReplyHere's a link with some basic stuff about sound engineering. https://www.coursera.org/articles/audio-engineering Doing something that you like makes life a lot more fun. Nothing worse than waking up and hating the idea of going to work.

2 RepliesCongrats Take your time, you have so many avenues to take. I for one don’t think blue collar trades get enough credit. Automotive repair, construction, electrical work, etc.. You can make quite a good living if you line up a good company and hone your skills. If nothing else, you’ll have knowledge that’ll help you later in life if you decide to pursue something different.

1 ReplyEdited by Cobravert: 6/20/2023 1:24:53 PMCongrats on graduating. As for career, I hope you find a vocation that your happy with. All I can say is, if you're mechanically inclined and have an appreciation for work in the automotive arena, maybe consider going to a tech school for that. There's always a need for a good mechanic/ technician. Most guys in that never finish school for being hired directly out of school if they are in the top part of the class. Sound operations, I have no idea.

4 RepliesCongratulations! My son also just graduated, and he's moving down to South Carolina at the end of August for 6 months to work at a wildlife/nature preserve before pursuing a possible career in Horticulture. Of course, he was going to community college part-time to pursue a career as a cook/chef, but that was then and this is now, lol.
