Weapons of light has gone from a 35% buff to a 25% buff with void 3.0. This is the same damage buff WoR gives. The justification is that you can’t take damage in a bubble but can in a well. The problem with the justification is that you can’t shoot in a bubble and when you step out of a bubble you don’t have any armor. (Unless someone builds into by using helm of saint-14). Well you can shoot out of and ignore 99% of any damage that can be taken in the game.
The nerf is bad and should be reverted.

1 ReplyBubble seems useless now . . . great
-
Would love to see bungie dev team stream stuff like goa master against last boss not using well or bubble
-
I also think it was not a good nerf why take titan now exept for tundercrash when bungie want us to divers our playstyle
-
Hunter or warlock main crying for nerfs how Pathetic.
-
4 RepliesFor everyone on here complaining about it Wor used to be 50% then went to 45% then to 25% when bubble went to 35% bungie said they would be different tweaks to other classes as well not just voud for this season meaning Wor could be nerfed to have no weapon damage what so ever and then titan could still be useful we dont know what arc an solar are gonna get but i can see a nerf coming for warlocks with Wor

2 RepliesYeah, Bubble is now useless compared to well. Even if I gotta add another aspect or fragment, its a slot taken vs well's base incentives. Maybe it gets nerfed later, but for now, bubble just became useless. Reminder. This was the Titans ultimate support role from all the way back from Destiny. It's a punch in the lower region. I'm hoping this gets resolved in some way as now most of our mods are just 5% shy of considering a bubble super. What the F*** Bungo?

6 RepliesYes. Bubble = protection focus. Shield + 25% damage boost Banner shield = Damage focus. 35% damage boost. Now they both have a roll. Use bubble for defence. Use banner shield for boss DPS.
-
7 Repliesthis nerf is redciuous, the purpos of bubble titan is to stand a firm ground, damge phase, and for solo and fun runs. Bubble is fine as it was and dident need a nerf. As a titan main this is the most foolish thing bugnie dos. Hope down this season they see the mistake and unerf it. They forget last time when we crayon eaters go full hive mind.
-
1 ReplyOf course an unnecessary nerf. Can’t have anything over their precious warlock. Like those unnecessary nerfs to bottom tree striker and behemoth
-
I would be fine with this nerf if it allowed to shoot out of a bubble from inside of it with zero risk, but I completely agree, this is an unreasonable nerf and WoD will be abandoned after this on titans. Everyone will just run Cuirass and Thundercrash.
-
Wow now you know how tether hunters feel when a divinity does their role debuffing better, not to mention the seasonal artifact
-
Everybody is getting debuffs. 15% debuff abilities right? So 25+15=40% total buff+debuff That's higher than 35% buff and 0% debuff. It's...actually a slight buff, but it just requires a 2 stage setup process now. Well is gonna get nerfed, we all know it. It's the last PvE trick we have left so of course bungo will destroy it eventually. Relax.
-
Bubble nerf would be ok if they hit well too. Well is so broken and has trivialised content for ages
-
1 ReplyPretty sure WoA will get nerfed this year.
-
So I thought about it...and I think I believe I understand the true reason behind this change Think they didn't like seeing bubble and well use together instead of picking 1 There is a big chance well will receive some kind of nerf with solar 3.0 (my guess is to remove the overshield) The best option would have been to make the well overrun the bubble effect so you can't stack it...but I think it would have cause issues with others non stackable
-
Bungie always makes changes like this with another idea in mind. Well of Radiance is about to catch a FAT nerf, either in a mid season balance patch or when Solar subclasses get their 3.0
-
I think ur calling this to early. We don’t know the full capabilities of the new void 3.0 customization yet.
-
4 RepliesMy guess, the nerf is likely because void fragments will let you apply a weaken status on enemies with your grenade. So theoretically, a titan could place a bubble (giving max damage buff) then throw a grenade giving a debuff to the target (which will probably range from 15%-25%). This would mean that all you need is 1 titan and 5 damage classes for raids, and titans would quickly dominate pve content. I'm not agreeing but I can see their logic behind it.
-
7 RepliesI’m okay with this nerf… I think the Ward of Dawn should actually generate ammo for anyone standing inside it instead of getting a damage boost. This is coming from a Defender main btw.
-
At least you won’t have to be bubble -blam!- anymore and can run something more fun
-
4 RepliesBuff in my opinion. I hated having to dedicate 2 fireteam members to combine well+ bubble. Now titans are free to use other dps classes.

The problem is that while there used to be a reason to use bubble with a well, that reason is now gone. Not the best change on paper. Can’t imagine it will be very good in practice.

2 RepliesYou should know by now, warlocks are the only class allowed to be op in pve.
-
7 RepliesGlad bungo got bought. Hopefully sony sees the train wreck it is and fixes this crap. More nerfs lol. Nearly every important super has been nerfed since forsaken. Quite sad.
-
4 RepliesHow did you know that the changes are going to be a nerf.... To me it looks more like a rebalance of the ability where you lose here but gain there. Until we get to try out the changes we will not know if it was a nerf or maybe a buff.
-
Yeah Titans are getting F”ked they basically get a void withering blade and a subpar over shield. In the interview they honestly didn’t seem to care at all about Titans, they glanced over them at best lol just go all in with warlock like me this season, Titans will get their day in destiny 3 lol
